  2. Not a win this time, but a big step forward. One step closer, one lesson richer 🙃 I have a long way to go… When I first stepped in here, the performance pressure was intense. Training alongside global players was inspiring, yet at times I found myself zoned out. It took me a couple of days to remember why I was here - not to win (at least not this time), but to prepare with whatever I had and to show up on the world stage after my selection. That alone is huge. Being the “tiger” in your region and then stepping into the wild where other tigers outbeat you is humbling, but it’s the fastest way to grow. This experience was invaluable. Had I not been here, I wouldn’t have understood the exact steps I need to take to come back stronger. Failure does sting, as it does for any human, but over the past few years I’ve built the habit of asking myself: “What did I learn from this?” And that has changed me for the better. Every event since I resumed swimming last year has pulled me back closer to the sport and raised my goals higher. Until now, my big milestone was simply being selected for Worlds. I was content in pulling this off alongside my work and other responsibilities. Now? I want to win. Not just for the sake of it, but to give it my all so that when I touch the wall next time, I know I left nothing behind. Eyes on you, Hungary 2027 👀 States 2025, Nationals 2025, I’m coming for you. Many more prestigious meets ahead, and I’m showing up for each one wholeheartedly, with double the motivation to deliver better at the next Worlds 🏊🏼‍♀️🔥 Water shapes us 🙏🏻✨ Grateful for the journey life is taking me on, and for everyone who has supported me in their own way to help me show up and be here in Singapore for almost half a month. My husband, my family, my coach, my seniors and colleagues at work, my patients. Each of you has played a part. I’m truly thankful, and I love you all♥️
