  2. Wife and wife ❤️ September 16th 2023 It was so perfect 🥰 And then the body needed to settle and process all the amazingness that it experienced. So I’ve let it. ❤️ I have so much more I’m excited to share, but I honestly just don’t have the energy yet. And I know that number has to be honouring and taking care of myself. ❤️ I’ve had to tell myself many a time “don’t worry, the world won’t fall apart if you don’t instantly share all your wedding pictures, stories, thank yous, update your name, change your profile picture, etc…. You are still enough and loved if you have a slower timeline than others in your situation” Wherever you’re at today, please know you’re right on track. You don’t have to do things the normal way, you just have to honour yourself, be present, and show up to life with an open heart. Everything else will happen in perfect timing 😍❤️ Thank you everyone for the love and support you’ve sent to me and Kathleen over the years and especially this last week. ❤️ I feel so loved 😊 Today, I will be present and rest knowing that there is no ‘right timing’.   3. 100 days!! 👰‍♀️❤️😁🌈 There’s a saying, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him/her your plans” Long story short, one month ago, @kathleen.holt_ and I started talking about planning our wedding for spring or fall 2024. But Kathleen started asking about maybe getting married this year. My body freaked out anxiety went through the roof. Afret two weeks of very crazy everywhere, I was open to see if it might work out. Within a few days a perfect spot popped up. (a story for another day) And few days after that, we went to see it. And a few days after that, we officially booked it! 😁🙌🥳 Then (because holy shit, I’m actually getting married!) I opened up my phone and start a countdown an app. Yep, 111 days away. 🌈 So today, we are 100 days out! I am so excited for all the ups and downs of this journey, and then to see the adventures that will come after in our married life ❤️😁👰‍♀️🌈 Ps.   3. Ella’s birth story💕 I’ve talked at length at how difficult my birth with Oliver was. Insane active back labour with no dilation for 8 hours, 24 hours of labour, 2 hours of pushing and very much on the brink of needing a c-section before I finally got him out. I hoped it would be different the second time around and boy was it ever! I started having contractions around 9:30pm. At first I thought it was just another round of practise Braxton Hicks but then once I timed them I noticed they were consistently 3 minutes apart, lasting 45 seconds and felt like period cramps. I was coping extremely well, bouncing on an exercise ball and using the heating pad for comfort. After an hour of consistent contractions I called my midwife and filled her in. She told me to call back at 11pm if nothing changed or if things progressed. Sure enough 11pm rolled around and everything was still kicking up. Midwife showed up at 11:30pm to check me and I was 3-4cm dilated. We decided to chill out around the house a while longer but around 12:30am I started having a harder time coping. We showed up at the hospital by 1am and got admitted right away. I decided I wanted to get the epidural and had one in by 2am. Then around 2:30am my midwife checked me and I was still only 5cm dilated so I thought we were in for another long haul. Shortly after that my water broke (read:exploded) and almost immediately I started feeling insane pressure. The midwife checked me again and I had jumped to 9.5cm. At 3:30am the second midwife showed up and it was go time! I used all the pushing techniques I learned from @healthymumma613 @littlelotusyoga @thebellemethod and @hannahbower2 and thankfully I was making a ton of progress. At one point her heart rate dropped significantly and we had to call in the OB and pediatrician. The midwife looked at me and told me I had to get her out in two contractions. Apparently I work well under pressure because out she came! All in under 15 minutes🤯 9lbs 3oz of glory and no tearing🙌 (she’s got major brownie points with mom lol). All in all there’s nothing I would change about this birth. I’m so grateful to have felt so empowered and educated this time around🙏

Here are our stats: 12 weeks open 1000 plus members 3 facilities 0 cases stemming from the gym 1 case entered the gym 25 people in class sent to get tested 0 people coming back with positive tests Those are our stats. Please share yours that show otherwise so that the fitness community can wrap their heads around this 28 day closure and why. Everyone is in a tough place right now, mentally, physically and financially. With the closure of fitness and health facilities, you effect all 3 of those categories.
