I have so many memories grocery shopping with my mom so sometimes it happens but today I walked in and saw this big beautiful day of the dead altar and it hit me, my mom isn’t here. Sometimes we forget and the reminder hurts all over again. Day of the Dead hits different when you have someone’s picture to put on that altar. A lot of y’all won’t believe me, if never told you all. But I graduated high school In 2021, when originally I should have graduated in 2018. I got kicked out for fighting, but in the same token in 2018 I was a restaurant general manager at Burger King with a staff of 22 employees. I always knew that I would be successful in whichever field I decided to go in, to be 18 and run an entire store is nothing short of a blessing. I could of stayed a high school dropout and never returned & finished, but I truly believe in being educated and everything happens on divine timing. I may not have understood that fully at that age and appointed time but now I do. When it comes to life, your blessings and successes you have to be humble and be able to take a step back and be grateful for how far you have come. A lot of people tell me “ You don’t need school, or college. You’re already successful and have your own business “. But what they never understood is that I VALUE being educated, and that’s WHY I’m successful. Yeah I have a successful business, but it stems from being smart and educated in my field. Without knowledge I am nothing, so I will continue to learn, be humble and sit in a class and take notes, because no matter how young, how inexperienced the students around me are, or how much money I make compared to the professors I still can learn from EVERYONE. In this game of life, humble yourself and remain a student to the game, because listening and taking in information from the right people no matter the age, educational Level or background you can gain something from them. - Future UIC Business Undergraduate 😁

  2. ♥️Happy 20th wedding anniversary♥️ ♥️20 years ago “Meet me at the altar in your white dress" by Jagged Edge was the song we chose for our wedding! We do it our way. The audience went CRAZY! And 7 hours and 550 people later we were still partying at 2 am!! ♥️15 years ago we got remarried in Puerto Rico to celebrate us~and our kids signed the wedding documents. ♥️Today we celebrate our way again~in true Cavey style in our favorite-South Beach Miami!! The food was amazing, the ambiance was incredible, great drinks and the most fun 20th anniversary celebration I could ever dream of♥️ It was such a dream and I’m obsessively grateful to God for the life we work for and live.
