  3. 7 years in the gym and here we are. ✨ Nothing I love more than looking back at how far I’ve come. I first stepped into the gym to recover from an injury, and I fell in love. Not with how I looked, but with how it made me feel mentally. Training became my safe place. But somewhere along the way, that love shifted. Feeling good turned into wanting to be as small as possible. I became obsessive with the gym and my diet, and lost my love for training. About 1.5 years later, I knew something had to change. So I tried… and I did (took some trial and error tho) :). I committed to my first proper bulk and gained around 18–20 kg, along with so much strength and muscle. After that, I spent the past ~2,5 years eating at maintenance, allowing my body to slowly tone down and build muscle over a longer period of time. No rush. No extremes. Over the past 4 years, I’ve gained around 18+ kg and I’ve never felt better. Your weight doesn’t define your worth, and being the smallest version of yourself isn’t always the healthiest. For me, it was the complete opposite. More than the physical changes, the biggest transformation has been mental, finding balance, confidence, and genuinely enjoying the process again!! You’re capable of so much more than you think. Enjoy the process, it’s worth it. You’re worth it. 🤍 What I focus on now: - Focus on getting my steps in (± 8k daily) - 2 heavy, controlled, glute-focused leg days per week - Add more explosive cardio (because I love how it makes me feel) - 1–2 full upper body days - Eat clean: more organic, less processed foods - Get my protein mainly from real food, not powders - Enjoy the process, because being consistently good beats being occasionally great, and that’s where real progress is found. wearing @dfyne.official “PUCK” 🤍 #fitnesstransformation #fitnessjourney

Niet om definitief afscheid van elkaar te nemen, maar om ruimte te creëren. Om allebei weer te kunnen voelen, groeien en ontdekken wat we nodig hebben. En om te kijken of we elkaar, vanuit die ruimte, weer terug kunnen vinden. Onze kinderen staan hierin altijd op nummer één. We hebben daarom bewust een constructie gecreëerd waarin zij in hun eigen huis kunnen blijven wonen en wij om hen heen blijven bewegen. Een soort birdnesting, zodat hun thuis hetzelfde blijft en zij hier zo min mogelijk van hoeven te merken. Voor hen blijven we samen alles doen wat belangrijk is: verjaardagen, feestdagen, leuke uitjes en alle mooie momenten die we samen kunnen beleven. We blijven voor altijd hun ouders en zullen daarin één team blijven. Dit is ontzettend moeilijk en tegelijkertijd voelt het op dit moment als de enige manier om elkaar niet verder kwijt te raken. Soms is loslaten juist nodig om te kunnen ontdekken wat echt voor je leeft. We vragen om rust, ruimte en begrip.   3. Oké, dit komt misschien heel lomp over... maar het is wel de waarheid… Zoveel mensen laten hun potentie liggen omdat ze niet consistent zijn. Ze trainen een beetje op gevoel, slaan eens een weekje over of doen elke keer hetzelfde gewicht. En dan zijn ze verbaasd dat er niets verandert. Wil je echt sterk worden? Dan moet je gewoon blijven opdagen. Ook op de dagen dat je geen zin hebt. Pas progressive overload toe (elke keer een klein beetje zwaarder, beter of meer doen) en stop met het verzinnen van excuusjes. Natuurlijk spelen genen en aanleg een rol, maar de meesten van jullie kunnen véél meer dan je nu denkt. Sterk worden is simpelweg een kwestie van oefenen, herhalen en jezelf blijven uitdagen. Dat is precies waarom ik online coach ben geworden. Er is niets leuker dan mensen helpen sterker te worden dan ze zelf ooit verwacht hadden. Binnen mijn coaching zorg ik voor een strak plan. Ik programmeer je trainingen wekelijks zodat je jezelf op een slimme manier uitdaagt.
