  2. 3 FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS 📸⠀ ⠀ First of all I’m not a pro or anything, I just enjoy food and photography 😋 I get a LOT of questions as to how I make my food look better on camera, so here are my top 3 simple tips! Also this is obviously my fav brekkie ☺️⠀ ⠀ 1) LIGHTING⠀ I almost always take my food pics in the morning, next to a window, and in a bright room. It makes the biggest difference! It’ll make the food look more appealing, brighter, and more colorful. On top of that it drastically increases the quality of the photo, it makes it more HD.⠀ ⠀ 2) ANGLE (check pic no. 3)⠀ I always experiment with different angles while doing a shoot: the more the merrier. Depending on the type of food you have, its layout, and the plate/bowl, you’ll have to adjust the angle accordingly. I usually go for a 45-degree angle or a flat lay. Also, unless you’re focusing on clear-cut details, don’t zoom-in too much! Leave enough space around the plate and center it in the frame.⠀ ⠀ 3) EDITING (check pic no. 2)⠀ This is crucial! Always adjust the brightness, the clarity, the saturation and vibrance, and sometimes the sharpness. You also want to watch out for shadows as they tend to darken the picture. Also, stay away from intense filters as they distort the true colors and quality.⠀ ⠀ I really hope this helped! KETO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE 🍫 vegan, sugar-free, dairy-free, and 300 cal!⠀ Inspired by @doctorbowl ⠀ ⠀ This tastes amazing and the texture is so light and creamy 😭 Swipe left for a closer view 😋 I changed some things from the original recipe, check it out:⠀ ⠀ Macros (serves 1): 308 calories, 10g protein, 9g carbs, 26g fat.⠀ ⠀ 🍫 INGREDIENTS⠀ - 1/2 ripe avocado⠀ - 100ml canned coconut milk⠀ - 1 tbsp cocoa powder⠀ - 1/2 tbsp chocolate protein powder (or cocoa powder)⠀ - 2 tbsp natural sweetener (I used 2 packets of stevia, add more if you like it sweet)⠀ - toppings: berries, peanut butter, etc.⠀ ⠀ 🍫 INSTRUCTIONS⠀ - Blend all ingredients together in a blender (except the toppings).⠀ - Pour the mixture in a ramekin and leave in the fridge overnight (or 2 hours minimum).⠀ - Add the toppings and enjoy for breakfast, as a snack, or dessert!⠀ ⠀ Note: my avocado wasn’t too flavorful to begin with, so I didn’t taste it in the mousse.
