When I was 18 I was in the beauty industry where I worked for MAC, did freelance makeup, tapped into the corporate medical skin care field, then did lash extensions for 2 years! 4. Kickboxing is a HUGE hobby of mine 🥊 I started a few years ago and haven’t stopped training since. It’s my passion & therapy 🙌🏼 5. I’m 100% Portuguese and speak it fluently. Being able to teach it to my kids has been the biggest blessing!   3. ✨ GOD’S PLAN ALWAYS PREVAILS ✨ Looking back at the past month and a half gives me chills. The timeline, the lessons, the redirection—it’s all part of HIS perfect plan. I’m beyond grateful for my journey and to be used as a testimony of what happens when you seek Him first, trust Him fully, and refuse to question His path for you. 💫 Rejection is simply redirection toward something greater. Just two weeks ago, I was cut from my first NBA team. My heart knew my story wasn’t over. I had two choices: dwell on the past or keep chasing my dreams. Coincidentally on the VERY last day of another team’s deadline, I applied. Booked a flight. Kept training. Two weeks later, I found myself on a solo flight to Dallas—nervous, far from home, but grounded in my safe place: dance. This audition wasn’t “perfect,” but it was purposeful. On June 23, 2019 Jess and I drove across the country from Boca Raton South Florida to Sacramento. The road trip that started it all was nothing short of breathtaking. The road we traveled living with one another was nothing short of challenging. The UPS the DOWNS the LEARNING the UNDERSTANDING the PATIENTS the GROWTH all paid off to the BEAUTY we will bringing into this world June 23, 2020.
