  2. That Melt 🧈 No HD lace No problem. Watch me melt dark transparent lace for this clean install. Here are the key steps: 1. I bleached and slightly over bleached the knots for the scalp effect. This particularly helps with dark lace. 2. I do the bald cap method to avoid the wig looking darker in the scalp area. Ensure the wig cap is seamless for best results. 3. After goue, I go in with a glue spray and melt each glue step with a melting band for around 15mins. 4. After the glue steps, I ended off with Foundation powder on the lace with a small brush and minimal product. 5. Once the foundation powder is on, I end off with a melting spray on the metal end of my rag tail comb for a neat precise application. Melting sprays tend to be sticky and messy so this is the best way of getting it done.   1. I’ve always had a huge love for musk. Over time it quietly became its own (not so little) collection within my perfume collection, because this note can be interpreted in so many beautiful ways. I truly believe musk deserves to shine on its own, not just as a supporting note. So that is why I decided to start a series dedicated entirely to it. To begin this series, I wanted to start with skin scents. The kind of perfumes people describe as “your skin but better”. At first, the idea can sound strange. Who wants to smell like skin, right? But skin scents feel more like an aura. As if you naturally radiate this soft, beautiful scent. In my collection, skin musks are often the most misunderstood when someone comes to smell my perfumes for the first time. People are usually more impressed by something like a fruity floral. But the funny thing is that these quiet skin scents are often the most complimented fragrances I own, even the ones with the softest projection. And I think the reason is simple. Everyone recognizes the feeling of a skin scent. That soft, familiar warmth. It reminds us of something. Maybe a hug from someone you love. Maybe sitting close to your partner on a long night drive.   2. Pure Musc x Pure Musc Blanc I love @narciso_rodriguez Pure Musc. It’s one of those easy reaches when I want to smell clean and put together. It has that straight out of the shower feeling with a very present musk, and it lasts so beautifully on my skin. And to be honest, I always felt like it was a bit underrated because it truly does that crisp, soapy, clean skin scent so well. When I heard the brand was coming out with a flanker, I was excited but also a little curious because flankers can go either way. But Pure Musc Blanc surprised me in the best way. Pure Musc Blanc keeps that same clean musky base but softens it. It feels a little brighter and smoother, with a more delicate kind of musk. It has that fresh laundry feel but not crisp as in the og, it’s more airy and blended. As it dries down, there is a soft creaminess that comes through from the vanilla that makes everything feel seamless. They both give you that clean skin feeling, just in different ways. Pure Musc is more crisp and clean, while Pure Musc Blanc feels creamy, softer and a little more luminous. I can understand why they might seem similar at first since they share that clean musky base, but if you didn’t tell me this was a flanker, I honestly would not think they were from the same line. I do however really appreciate that there’s a clear difference between them because it makes it so easy to love both! You can definitely have both in your collection without feeling like they overlap. Which one would you choose? 🤍
