When we were warming up we were already hitting the safeties tho, and at rpe 6 we thought it was fine to take them off but now we know that regardless it is j better to have them on and lesson learned fs that was not smart of ME so plz plz don’t be blaming anyone else

First my knee sleeves, now my belt, next thing u know my wrist wraps gonna strangle me somehow 😭 … DONT WORRY I EVENTUALLY DID GET OUT OF MY BELT… it only took like 20 min 🥸 for a hot sec I swear we were gonna have to call the fire department or something For those curious, I have a Pioneer 10mm PAL V2 lever belt and this has never happened before but if this has happened to u plz let me know if u know what exactly the cause of the problem issss I know it’s j the last latch that is an issue for me so if I don’t use that one it flicks off j fine. I j thought this was so weird and not sure if I’m doing anything wrong but anyways I hope u enjoyed one of the worst 20 min of my life 😀

  3. calisthenics carries when I’m on vacation 🙃 Even when traveling, I always seem to find ways to get a lil workout in whether it be at the London Underground Train, a San Diego park, the Narrita Express Train in Japan, or even the Eiffel Tower. U76 🥇 Welsh Championships 2025 This might surprise a lot of people but I’m actually really not competitive at all and I genuinely just want to better myself each competition (which might be why I’ve never won before🤣) but this time I knew I had to win to get myself back to the competition I loved competing in last year 🙏🏻 And I can’t lie, winning did feel very good but also very emotional 😭 The total I put up does not reflect my overall strength but it does reflect my resilience, patience and positivity that I’ve held onto for the last 8 weeks. I also walked away with a bench PB which was originally my lifetime goal when I started powerlifting of 100KG 🥹 I’ve found so much joy in life outside of lifting recently and I’m really going to enjoy those aspects over the next few weeks but just know that Millielifts at the British Open 2025 will be INSANE.   3. Mastered it! Might get PhD, might take a nap first.. 🎓💤 Biggest flex yet, officially earned my Master’s degree in Sport Psychology & Leadership! 
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. McKendree has been home for the past 5 years, from finishing my undergrad in Exercise Science & Sports Performance with a Business Admin minor, to coaching on the Powerlifting team, and now walking away with a master’s degree. What’s next? For the first time in a long time, I don’t fully know, but a doctorate may be in the near future. Right now, the brain needs a breather. Endless thank you to my Bearcat family, teammates, coworkers, athletes, and anyone I’ve met on the way, your support has meant everything. 💜 Lastly, I want to give a heartfelt shout out to my former coach and current coaching boss, @coach_bradly_bechel , thank you for believing in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. Losing my dad during undergrad was the hardest chapter of my life, and I never thought I’d make it here. Thank you for being there for me when I needed it the most.   3. Enormous personal lifting milestone unlocked last night: a 2.5 kg deadlift PR, repped twice. 217.5 kg (479.5 lbs) for a “cluster” double. Prior to this, 215 kg was my PR, which I first lifted in training in May 2023. Yes, that is almost 2.5 years for another 2.5 kg on deadlift. I was programmed to do one rep, but I let my lizard brain take over and decided to do two, after standing around and thinking about it for a second. I posted the whole video because I don’t want to crop out the contemplation period for social media. During the pause between the two reps, I checked the weight (did I really just lift that?), processed that—yes, I just did that, and it felt great, and I had another one in the tank… and then decided to do it because I knew I could. I’m not endorsing going off program, but sometimes you need to do something for yourself. 🥲 (idc if no one watches this video… it’s for me). 11 weeks out to SBD Austin. Första landslagsuppdrag ✅ 6e plats, pb i böj och framförallt jag gjorde det och det var väldigt kul😁 det var min sämsta prestation nånsin 😅 men är inte så ledsen för det, jag har inte känt mig så nervös eller stressad över det här (tror jag?) men det känns ändå skönt att det är över. Min träning har ju varit väldigt upp och ner på sista tiden och ska bli skönt att backa lite och försöka hitta tillbaka till min teknik 😊 vägde in på 62.45 och mådde superbra så var taggad på stordåd 😅 men tror jag borde ätit/ druckit lite mer innan för var lite svårt att få i mig tillräckligt med vätska och mat innan uppvärmning, oh well böj 162.5kg, och alla 3 böjar godkända (även om min 3e böj var den vikt jag tänkt som 2a lyft från början) bänken kändes konstig men kändes bättre och bättre på uppvärmningen, sen på flaket fick inte riktigt till rätt position men väldigt lätt 1a och andra på 97.5kg, 3e lyftet på 102.5 blev lite väl dålig position, tror styrkan fanns men kände att jag inte låg rätt. Marken kändes ok på uppvärmningen, första tävlingslyftet på 177.5 kändes väldigt lätt men sen vet jag inte vad som hände, har ju haft lite problem med marken att den är väldigt seg från botten och att det kan vara lätt en vikt och sen 10kg mer blir väldigt tung, men trodde verkligen jag skulle haft 187.5kg, gjorde 2 försök, tror den 2a faktisk var lite bättre men det var helt enkelt för tungt igår 🤷🏼‍♀️ det var lite speciellt att tävla så sent, hade invägning kl 15, åt frukost vid 10, nu i efterhand känns som det hade varit bra att äta lite mer innan, onödigt att väga in så lätt 😅 men jag har gjort min första internationella tävling och är ändå väldigt stolt och hoppas det blir fler gånger 🤩 foto @hugo_granberg film @kakancaesar @styrkelyftforbundet och tack alla som var och hejade sååå himla kul ni förgyllde min tävling och tack till coacher och andra lyftare för en riktigt kul tävling 🥰💕❤️
