  1. Two Options, One Choice: Move or Make Excuses On this day, we made moves🥇National record set✅ 712lbs, deadlift only for 125KG class Adapting to the environment, overcoming obstacles, and making the necessary corrections to achieve success are the hallmarks of true determination. May 19th, 2024 marks a pivotal moment—a final lift, a last attempt. It’s either go home empty-handed or leave triumphant, with everything you’ve worked for. This moment is especially significant as it falls on the fifth anniversary of my mom’s passing. I channel her strength, drawing on her spirit. I keep the hard times in mind, remembering the resilient woman she was. Overcoming obstacles was second nature to her, and as her extension, I believe nothing is impossible. We have put in the grind, and on that last lift, I summoned nothing less than “Final Boss Energy”! This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the unparalleled support of those around me. You know who you are, and I’m incredibly blessed to have you on this journey with me. There is more to conquer and even more objectives to set. There’s no room for complacency—just hard work and relentless pursuit of our goals. Let’s go! #powerlifting #nationalrecord #wrpf #wrpfmidwest #midamericaregionals #sbd #deadlift #deadliftonly #truestrength #overcomeobstacles #gamechanger #reflection #family #muscle #liftbig #behumble #behungry #bethehardestworkerintheroom #putinthework #twohands #achievegreatness #together #lfg 📸 @twisted.twin.media

  1. Imposter syndrome can hit at any level.
While I’ve racked up quite the resume in powerlifting, sometimes I feel like the accomplishments were a fluke. IPF Collegiate Cup World Champion. 2x Arnold Sports Festival Winner. 3x Equipped National Champion. 2024 Equipped Nationals Best Lifter. 2024 Athlete of the Year.
I see my name amongst legends on this list and feel like I don’t belong. That being said, I’m proud of the performances I put together over the past year.

12/12 at the Arnold Sports Festival across two back to back meets to win the Equipped Pro Series Finals + place 3rd in the Equipped Bench Pro Series Finals.

Went 5 meets in a row without missing a single lift across both raw & equipped, PR’ing every single competition lift.

Won Equipped & Bench Nationals in the same weekend, coming away in 1st & 3rd all-around best lifter respectively. Again shaking off the feeling of “was it a fluke,” reminding myself that it was not.

This was built over a decade of being a competitive powerlifter and lifetime of being an athlete, coupled with on point programming & attempt calling from @hartmanperformance to solidify the perfect year. Incredibly grateful for all those who have been with me along this journey. There are far more than I can list in this post but know that I’m thankful for all of you.

Enjoy my favorite lifts from this past year captured by @barbellproductions 🎞️ @usapowerlifting @usapl.equipped @usapowerliftingwomen

  2. My FIRST month training to be a powerlifter with my coach @powerlifting_mom_tn ! When I asked her to coach me, I was already close to maxes, so we kicked off the first month with a Strength Build to Max block to truly assess where to start my training. This month was TOUGH, but honestly, I loved every second of it! This is totally my JAM 🔥 The highlight of my month? My 220lb squat, a +25lb PR! 😱 While it wasn’t quite to depth for powerlifting, my body worked HARD for that weight, and I know it’s only going to improve. Max weeks are about testing those limits, so my lifts weren’t pretty, but they are foundational and will only get better as we train. 🙌 Deadlifts? 252.5 lbs, and fun fact, I shorted myself a pound when I posted on my timeline last week (who knew the yellow pound plates weighed more than the yellow kg plates?! 🤣). But hey, I’m learning! On bench, I hit a +5lb PR and walked away with SO much knowledge about my form. Still a newbie, but making progress every day! I’m determined to get a plate by the time I compete! So far, my total is 572.5 lbs, and for this almost 50-year-old... I’m SUPER PROUD of that! 😎 It’s only going to get better. 💥 This block ends with a deload week, then we’ll focus on form building & volume in Block 2! I’m training for my FIRST-ever powerlifting meet as a 50th BIRTHDAY PRESENT to myself at the end of the year! 🎉 Strength as I age is the BEST gift I could ever give ME. Follow along as I prove that in midlife, we can LEARN new things and be STRONG AF!! #powerlifting #sbd #squats #deadlifts #midlifehealth #strongwomen

  3. My first mock meet is officially in the books and it was for such an amazing cause with @barbell_babes 💗 Compete for a CURE and with the hosting gym @cosfit22 was an unforgettable experience! The energy and encouragement were UNMATCHED. Every single lifter was so kind, supportive, and hype! It was AMAZING. I left feeling so inspired… and now I’m HOOKED 😍 Ready to do it all over again! I was in the Masters division 40+ and I got 2nd place out of 6 competitors 🥳This finished up month 3 of my powerlifting training at 49, and I still have a LOT to learn but I’m all in. I’ve picked my official sanctioned meet day for January 2026 and I’m building from here! Showing you my wins & my fails because this is not easy work! SQUAT: 175 lbs (79.4 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 200 lbs (90.7 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 225 lbs (102 kg) 🔴🔴🔴 ^ didn’t brace enough 😭! I know I’ve got the strength, I just need to lock in the technique. TWO plates… I’m coming for you! BENCH: 75 lbs (34 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 95 lbs (43 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 105 lbs (47.6 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ DEADLIFT: 230 lbs (104.3 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 245 lbs (111.1 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ 260 lbs (117.9 kg) ⚪️⚪️⚪️ I had so much FUN!!! 💪And a huge shoutout to my coach @powerlifting_mom_tn who also competed with me! You’ve taught me so much about powerlifting and you have been such an amazing light in my life. You’ve encouraged my love for powerlifting and reminded me that I am strong enough and that I belong here. That I’m allowed to take up space in a community I never thought I was strong enough to be part of. #powerlifting #midlifehealth #deadlifts #strongwomen
