  3. Freshened up my colour today with a great colour mask from @wellahair . . I’ve had this mask for awhile and used it on wet hair but didn’t feel it was anything special… BUT today I applied it on dry hair and left it on for about 20-30 minutes and the results speak for themselves! Definitely worked so much better than just using it as a 3-5 minute mask in the shower. . . It’s great value too - you could probably get a good 3-4 uses out of one tube (on short hair). Or if you did want a more subtle effect, you’d get loads of uses as a 3-5 min treatment, using the same amount as you would conditioner. . .   3. How many times have you walked out of the salon disappointed thinking - “I like it but... it’s not exactly like the pictures I shown 😕” ) 💡 Long answer: It truly could be a multitude of things. The most common ones being hair texture and density, your colour history, your haircut, the professional styling of the image (ever notice how different your hair colour can look when it’s styled either straight or waved vs frizzy and untamed?), your hairs porosity (this determines how well your hair accepts colour, or rejects it) your Haircare routine (honestly, it matters 🤓) the condition of your hair (ultimately the hair decides what is possible) and most importantly, -Lighting- 💡 Without getting too technical, the most accurate and honest depiction of what your hair colour really looks like, is when you are in indirect natural daylight. That fluorescent bulb in your bathroom telling you your hair is brassy is probably lying to you 😂 and if it isn’t you need to book an appointment with me 😉 💡 Short answer: if you ask an artist to paint the same picture twice, there will almost definitely be some variations in the end result - the same applies to hair!   2. UPDATE Things haven't been great...when I get quiet it is because something is happening... Since yesterday I have been having pain back in my spine and today also where my liver is. A very weird sensation in my liver that is hard to explain. As my McMillan nurse told me on the phone today, I am very in tune with my body and sensitive to everything that happens to it. They are going to discuss my case tomorrow and see if we have to change anything. Good news is that chemo is a go, my neutrophils levels went up to 1.1 so it can go ahead. I have mix emotions about it, I want to have chemo to save me from this beast growing inside me but also I know how rubbish I am going to feel so I am not looking forward to that. On a lighter not, I think I am going to postpone doing my hair pink and curly to when I feel a little better ☺️ Thank you so much for all the messages wishing me well, it feels my heart reading them!
