  2. 🌞Some Notes For Mental Health Awareness Month 2023🌞 During those days when I felt like I could not go on, fear was the only thing I felt in my chest. It was as if I could not force anything inside of me. I would convince myself that I had already experienced enough anxiety for the day. However, instead, I lived in fear and confusion, lost and out of touch with myself. For years, I battled against my being, struggling to find the strength and love to overcome my struggles. I want to express gratitude for those challenging days when I could not hear my voice. They have taught me how to love myself unconditionally, hear the voice of love above all else, and connect with my true self. Those difficult days when I felt small, limited, and powerless have gifted me with endless appreciation for the life I now live and the freedom I experience daily. The days when I felt shy and retreated within myself taught me how to be brave and fight fiercely, providing unconditional support. I now acknowledge that suffering from mental health issues is nothing to be ashamed of and is not something to hide. It does not define who you are or who you can become. Your struggles can become the backbone of your strength, the reason behind your well-being, and the roots of your freedom. Now, when I tell myself that I can do anything, it is because I remember a time when I felt like I could not. My greatest reminder of this unstoppable feeling comes from a time when I believed healing was impossible. Seeking help, asking for assistance, and finding support is the most incredible and inspiring things you can do if you are hurting. There are people who are ready and willing to help you, to listen to you, and to fight alongside you. Today, when I touch my chest, I feel only love and excitement about life's possibilities. I am found, I am home, and I am free. The process to progress can be uncomfortable, but it is a temporary phase 🦋 #freedom
