  3. I wanted to wait to post images from this weekend’s @premierpbleague Franklin Premier Pickleball League until I had the shots from our pro photographer @paulcurrie06 Paul Currie Photos. For me, the highlight of the weekend was the sense of togetherness experienced both by my team and fellow competitors. So rather than showing action shots with amazing play, I wanted to post images that showed the support, respect and teamwork exhibited by my team of players Rachel Kirk was unable to play but came to support and become part of the team. That is the sign of a true teammate and we will be so lucky to have her on court when ready to play. @pickleball_101 Julia Stevens came along to support her friend and give advice from the sidelines. As usual, her insight and energy were spot on for my team. See her in the background of the shot of my volley. Amazing @anna_linton1 was such an inspirational captain. Despite getting my expected drubbing in singles, there was only ever positivity being sent in my direction. She truly deserved her player of the day award. @stustimson was a great men’s dubs partner. It was our fifth ever game together in the first fixture and we gelled together almost immediately. As expected, the bag of tricks came out to fool the opposition from Stu’s paddle. I just needed to hang on in there and be ready for anything. Although St wasn’t ready for what came off Hans March’s paddle. @helen.kenna was her usual rock by my side. Reliable, making the right decisions and even getting away with starting a hand battle with possibly the hardest hitter in our division (she won it 😍). It’s such a pleasure to call you my mixed partner. Andy Hill: we can’t wait for you to join us and elevate the team even higher. Whilst it’s wonderful to be first in the division and make such a strong first showing, it’s more important to me that our group of players is a team first, as then the winning takes care of itself. The Masters and entire Franklin Premier Pickleball League is a family of players united by a common love of a life altering game. We must never lose sight of the community, connections and friendships made through this league.
