  2. Hear me out 🗣️- EVERYONE should be able to do push ups! _ ‼️ I’m not saying the one I’m showing in my video ( content purposes only) but I mean a basic BW push up. Use bands or exercise regressions to work towards it such as kneeling push ups. _ Explanation 📚 - Whether you’re a man or a woman and you’re physically able (disabilities excluded🙏🏽) you should have the basic bodyweight strength to perform a push up. It’s the most simple form of bodyweight pushing strength and I believe everyone should have this. . Now I’m not saying you should have the immediate strength for this, however you can simply work towards it using regression exercises such as kneeling push ups and upright push ups or even use a band for assistance. . Main point here being if you consider yourself a healthy individual you should have the basic strength to do a bodyweight push up or at least work towards it because it doesn’t take a long time to build up that strength. Basic bodyweight strength should always be your goal before you pick up a single weight! Read that again! .   2. Not the outcome I was hoping for, but what an incredible experience! The whole build up to the event was a real mental battle - worrying about my shoulder, having a new move in my routine I’d never practiced before and even getting a nosebleed during the night (probably from the stress of it all 😂) - it honestly felt like my body was trying to find a way out. That being said, it was my first year competing in calisthenics and I got the chance to experience the world stage alongside some of the best athletes out there. I’ve definitely left feeling more inspired and more determined now that I know exactly what I need to focus on to reach the top level. On top of that, I’ve met some amazing people from the UK and within the global calisthenics community. What a sport! Big thanks to @lynch_sw for all his hard work he does for the @uk_calisthenics_org and my coach @aaron_lauder for believing in me 👊
