You can't forget what you know. You're in too deep now.⁣⁣ ⁣ So you carry on because you need to. Doing your best to live a more sustainable lifestyle.⁣ ⁣ But please, give yourself a break when you can't be bothered.⁣.. when life feels crappy.   3. My son has struggled with school this year because the other children call him names for liking the colour pink. He is 5.⁣.. ⁣ Even though he has been brought up with an understanding that people are allowed to like whatever they like, sometimes he will come home saying things like “my favourite colour at home is pink but at school it's red.” ⁣ ⁣ It's heartbreaking that at a young age, he is already learning that it’s not easy to be yourself, and some days, he wants to hide the parts that bring him joy and make him who he is.⁣ ⁣ I won’t even go into how irritating it is that most shops don’t make pink dinosaur or Minecraft clothes. And if they have something in the girls’ section, they say tacky things like sparkle-saurus and look like My Little Pony vomited on them. ⁣ ⁣ And it's not just pink. In autumn, I had to buy him a new coat because he refused to wear his green gender-neutral @welovefrugi one after being told “unicorns are for girls” by a close male friend. When did unicorns stop being majestic mythical creatures?⁣ ⁣ It breaks my heart seeing him sad after school. It also makes me worry for his future; as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent adult, I spent most of my life masking and hiding my own interests. ⁣ ⁣ It’s infuriating that little has changed in 30 years.⁣ ⁣ I’m sure a girl wouldn’t be laughed at for liking sports or wearing blue. So why can’t a little boy wear pink? Or wear nail varnish? Or dress up as a fairy? Or play the part of a mummy in pretend play? ⁣ ⁣ ✨️My mind keeps coming back to the same thought:⁣ ⁣ Kids aren’t born with stereotypical attitudes. These are learned behaviours. Research shows that children start absorbing stereotypes by age 3 and that their personalities are set by 5.⁣ ⁣ The way we talk (or don’t) about gender and diversity plays a big part in how kids see the world and treat others. When kids are accepting, they are less likely to become bullies.⁣ ⁣ The fight to end toxic masculinity and gender inequality has to start in our homes. If we care about mental health, we have to raise a more inclusive next generation.⁣ ⁣ So parents, PLEASE, can you teach your kids that girls and boys can like whatever colours they like?⁣ 💖

I adore Gucci’s fragrances, however, it’s my first ever makeup product from the brand and I’ve been thrilled to try it out. I’ve got this lip gloss in shade 219 Bertha Pink. It leaves a lovely pink tint on my lips, rather pale. The lip gloss has a thick and sticky consistency, yet easy to apply thanks to the precise and flexible applicator. The lip gloss smells like sweet berries with a hint of mint. The aroma is quite intense. Upon application and half an hour later I could feel some tingling sensation on my lips, which I believe is a part of the plumping effect. This Gucci Lip Gloss truly does what it says - makes my lips visually fuller and smoother, while providing long-lasting hydration. Now, let’s talk about a couple of downsides. While the packaging is cute, the tube itself doesn’t give off the luxurious feel you would expect from Gucci (all plastic with a metallic cap). I was also disappointed to discover that the main ingredient is microplastic, which is definitely not something you want to ingest. Furthermore, the lip gloss contains quite a lot of allergens. When applying you need to be careful not to go outside the lip line or too close to the corners (as my skin reacted with redness). Would you like to try this new Plumping Lip Gloss from Gucci?
