  1. The grief is heavy at times, just a year & a half later, but more than anything is peace and relief in knowing I was never crazy. I always knew something was off, the whole time, but the gas lighting & manipulation was so intense. Having concrete proof and evidence was a NEED for me in that wrapped up, fucked up cycle. Be a woman’s woman. Save your receipts. Believe women. I have read a lot of anonymous threads along these lines: “I just found out the guy im seeing has an ex who is pregnant” or “has a baby mom who just gave birth, but he swears they aren’t together” .. “should I reach out to her? She’s probably so hormonal. I don’t want to add to her stress.” And my comment is always the same: Reach out to her. If they’re together / off & on, she needs to know about you. If they’re not together / off & on, and this was some random one night pregnancy situation, and this is a guy you’re actually interested in…then he needs to be healthy + mature enough to not hide his child or his child’s mother from you. But more than that, with what I’ve seen, it is more likely he’s sneaking around and you are the other woman. Be a woman’s woman. She is likely at home feeling crazy, because her intuition is telling her he’s cheating / lying / betraying, and he’s gaslighting her. And she’s pregnant so then she really does feel crazy. But you can be a woman’s woman and tell her she isn’t crazy, you exist, and here are the receipts. Period. Be a woman’s woman to the end. It cycles through 11 programs, and kids can interact with scenes ranging from space to under the sea through sand play. My daughter loved the dinosaur scene, where she could pile the sand into mounds to form mountains or spread it out to form water. 🧇 Chicky Play Museum also boasts a cafe that specializes in waffles! The ambience gives off tiki vibes, as do some of the drinks, but what really sets @g.lovepdx’s sister bar apart is the 🌟 golden cart 🌟 You can order off the menu, but there’s also a cart that comes around with delicious small plates and even mini cocktails (!!!) and you can pick what you want (think dim sum) then the server stamps your menu bingo-style. 🦀 My friend and I joked about trying everything on the cart menu and then we actually did it and were SO pleased. Every bite was delicious, but we had to get seconds (and thirds) of the crab roll, and I find myself dreaming about the wonton fish taco and pickled onion rings 🤤 💡 When I went to the Love Shack I was quoted an hour wait; however, they have standing room bar tables so my friend and I grabbed a snack and ordered drinks - by the time our drinks arrived our table was ready in way under an hour!
