  1. The photo of my dreams! Some people dream about a car, a trip, or money… I dream about a photo like this. There are so many times I drive past spots along the Gunflint and think to myself, “If only a moose would show up here.” And today… that moment happened! I had a choice to make. I reached the first spot in the dark but made a split-second decision to keep going, hoping to find the bull I’d been waiting for. As I came over the hill, there he was…standing perfectly in my headlights. An hour later, he stepped into this opening, and I got this shot. It’s not often while photographing moose that I have to stop and take a few deep breaths. The first photo is the true orientation; the second is flipped - showing the incredible reflection.

  3. Snowy Owl Visits Grand Marais ✨ This morning I woke up early and slipped out the door with one goal in mind… find the snowy owl again. I headed into town and ended up sitting on the rocks by Lake Superior with my friend @heyojojo_ , taking in the quiet shoreline and watching the owl. She was perched up above us, keeping an eye on everything, calm and still. Then, in one perfect moment, she lifted off, flew right over our heads, and headed out toward the lighthouse. I ran out and somehow… heart pounding, hands shaking a little, I got the shot! I keep a little bucket list of places I’d love to see a moose, moments in certain landscapes, and a few dream photographs I hope to capture someday. Ever since seeing @ryan.pennesi.photography photo of a snowy owl in front of the lighthouse, I’ve felt inspired to capture my own version.

I still can’t believe that last night was the last game I ever pitched for this University, the last time I put this uniform on. It’s been an honor to be able to represent this program and had the opportunity to create so many lifelong memories. To my coaches and teammates, I cant thank you guys enough for all of the love and support you’ve shown my family and I over the past few years. Each and every one of you mean so much to me and I’m thankful to have the opportunity to get to know you all. You’ve taught me so much and helped shape me into the person I am today. To Minnesota, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be apart of this University. You’ve given so much to me and prepared me for my future. To all the fans, thank you for showing your love and support for my teammates and I . The amount of love and support we’ve had from all over the country means so much. There’s so many things that are taken way from the rest of the season and our careers here but who knows what could happen.. to the little girl who fell in love with the game, hopefully the journey isn’t over yet. The amount of hard work, long hours, blood, sweat, and tears for four years was all worth it. Don’t take a second of it for granted because it goes by way too fast.   3. Past few days back in the homeland - Family, friends & good eats🫶🏼 Fastest 4 days of my life, but was well worth it. Congrats to the Kuecker’s💍 Cam, you were the most beautiful bride♥️ so good to be able to see friends and family that I haven’t seen in so long! Truly was the perfect wedding! And of course, thank you Jen for the last minute hair touch up.. you’re always the best!! Also huge thank you to Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union for coming to my grandparents to present me my Iowa Hall of Fame Award! It was important for my family and I to be able to celebrate it with my 93-year old, grizzly attack survivor, Grandpa. An even bigger thanks to everyone who has been apart of my career so far. Without the teams I’ve been apart of, coaches, teammates, and the incredible support from family and loved ones, and the countless hours practicing, this award wouldn’t have been possible. Dad, I’m sorry for all the bruises you got, swollen ankles, sore shoulders from throwing with me all the time, and the pains you’re still having today from catching me… but, wouldn’t have traded it for anything!! Thank you everyone for the continued love and support. Let the journey continue🫶🏼

  3. I caught this large buck on my trail camera during deer season from the same exact tree along the North Shore of MN in 2025 (video 1), 2024 (video 2), and 2022 (video 3). I never saw him in person. He was a smart buck… This year he was taken down—congratulations to @s_micks ! Spencer and I compared notes on the hunting area and shared a bunch of trail camera videos back and forth. It was super fun!
