I decided to try out some really complicated cuts that took way too long. You might notice that the tiles are all alternating inverted colors, made with lots of vintage jewel tone transparent textured glass. I cant wait to see how the refractions look at night once I finally get a flameless candle to put inside (im too afraid to try a real candle because it might get heat cracks and I don’t wanna play with fire like that).   2. Yesterday I had the honor or working as a volunteer to record soundscapes in various locations around Mount Saint Helens for @mshinstitute . My day started early at sunrise to record the dawn chorus. Then Coldwater Lake where I recorded various birdsongs, geese, frogs, and the drumming of a grouse. I recorded ants crawling on their massive hills, trickling water from a beaver dam, a rushing river, and so much more. I’m excited to share these sounds soon.
