You can throw in any combo of dry ingredients that you want! INGREDIENTS 4 c Bob’s red mill oats 1/2 c hemp hearts 1/2 c wheat germ 1 c dried cranberries 2 c pecans or cashews 2 cups sliced almonds 2 c coconut flakes 1/2 c butter 1/2 c honey 1/2 c light brown sugar 2 tsp vanilla bean paste 2 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp salt DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 325 and line 2 pans with parchment paper Combine all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl Combine wet ingredients in a bowl Combine dry and wet ingredients in bowl Pour over trays and bake around 15 min

Here’s what I used to make some strawberry butter: Heavy cream Strawberrries Lemons Sugar Redmond’s sea salt Beat the heavy cream in a mixer or shake in a jar until the buttermilk separates from the butter While it is mixing, make the strawberry jam on the stove with strawberries, lemon zest and juice, and sugar until thick consistency Squeeze all buttermilk out of butter while jam is cooling Combine jam, butter and salt to taste Form into a roll and store in fridge or freezer until solid and ready to package Enjoy! #strawberrybutter #porchgiftideas #homemadechristmasgifts #christmascooking

  2. Early yesterday morning, Ashlyn had her MRI with the specialist who has been caring for her over the past three weeks. Not long after the scan, we received difficult news — despite treatment, the lesion has continued to grow. Our hope had been that she would feel even the smallest physical improvement and that the lesion would begin to shrink. With next steps quickly set in motion by her doctor, we now find ourselves in the Neuro ICU at UAB. Ashlyn is receiving steroids to reduce the inflammation surrounding the lesion, fluids to address the severe dehydration her body has endured, and we are preparing for a biopsy scheduled for 8 a.m. this morning. Even in the midst of so much uncertainty, Ashlyn’s faith remains unshaken. Her strength and positivity continue to inspire us all. As we face a day filled with unknowns, we humbly ask you to stand in the gap with us. Please pray for the hands that will care for her and for wisdom beyond measure for every doctor who hears her story and plays a role in her treatment. We know the Lord isn’t finished yet. He is refining and adding to her testimony. We are believing for restoration, peace, and complete healing. His will be done ❤️‍🩹

  3. Today has been another heavy day for Ashlyn. The pain and discomfort haven’t let up, and she has continued taking medication around the clock, resting whenever she can in hopes of even the smallest bit of relief. Watching her endure this is incredibly hard. Yet in the middle of the struggle, the Lord showed up so evidently today. Friends came to love on her, care for her, and help prepare her for tomorrow’s appointment. Each visit was a gentle reminder that she is not forgotten and she is not alone. Her village is a gift. Time and time again throughout this journey, we have seen God’s hand at work, and today was no different. Family and friends stepped in so willingly, using their gifts to serve her with such tenderness and humility. The Lord never meant for us to carry burdens like this alone, and I am constantly reminded of how deeply we need people who will stand in the gap — with bent knees in prayer and hands ready to serve. Especially when we don’t have the strength ourselves. I am beyond grateful for those who love my sister so fiercely. Tomorrow is a big day. We have many questions we hope will be answered, and Ashlyn will be having an updated MRI since her diagnosis. We ask you to pray with us—for wisdom for the doctors who will be caring for her; for clarity and peace as questions are answered and concerns addressed for those of us walking alongside her daily; for guidance in how we can help her find greater comfort moving forward; and most of all, that this lesion has not grown and that no new ones have appeared. Thank you for caring for my sister and for surrounding our family with so much love. Jesus, come. 🧡
