Losing you has catapulted me into a life I never wanted, and a reality that bears a daily cross I must pick up and carry, if I’m to ever live again. So much- too much- has happened since you left us. And I’m still processing, and grief still has me in her clutches. But I’m trying. Im changing. Im growing. And it’s all because of you. Oh how desperately I wish, that you could meet the Me, your leaving has made me to be. I wish this version of myself could mother you too. Someday, when the veil is lifted completely. I will. One day closer. I hope it all goes by as fast as you did.
