  1. There are no words to describe the pain of losing your other half.. Kyle was an absolute light to this world. He never met a stranger and would help anyone before he would help himself. He was a damn proud Marine and loved serving his country. Anyone could see what an amazing father he had become and we had so many plans for our future. We talked about our family growing and our dream of owning our own boat some day. He was so musically talented and knew just about any song you could think of. He couldn’t wait to teach Brooks how to play all the instruments and hoped he would love wrestling as much as he, his dad and brothers did. I’m pretty sure anyone that was around him has a video (or 50) of him dancing. His smile and energy were so infectious that he would light up a room. It breaks my heart that he was taken from this Earth FAR too early, but I find peace in knowing he is probably taking a bath in heaven with his headphones in “jammin out” (even though I wish it was just in the other room). I will be sure that Brooksy knows just how much his dada loved him and am so thankful that I will always have a part of Kyle in him. I love you forever and ever babe ❤️👼🏼🙏🏼

What I do know, is that you would be so proud of our genius little boy and crack up at his goofy personality that he clearly gets from you. I’m grateful for ALL the memories and especially grateful for the ones we get to continue to look at as the time passes. This year has been so challenging, but it’s pushed me to lean on God and trust His plan and I know, that alone, would make you so proud. We celebrated dadas heavenly birthday the other day ❤️🪽 Sometimes it really does just stop me in my tracks knowing Brooks will never get to know his dad the way I wish he could BUT I promise he will always know him the best way I can show him. Started the tradition of taking him out to the cemetery each year and will continue to get a picture with his dad’s hat on. On another note, what an incredibly beautiful place to be laid to rest 🥹 I hope our son will continue to visit you out here. That he feels peace with coming out to see his dad and can tell him all about life. Happy Birthday Kyky. We love and miss you so much ❤️

  2. Today we went out and spoke with the street vendor who was attacked the yesterday off of Rosedale Hwy. His name is Felicito Chávez, unfortunately he told us that this is not the first time that this has happened to him. His whole chest is purple from the man hitting him from yesterdays incident. Also About a week ago someone stole his backpack that had all his money, ID Cards, and his phone. After speaking with Felicito about who we are, he agreed to have us set up a cash app for him so he can take a few days off to rest with his family. Cash app link is in bio!

  2. What a special moment this was for me to honor my welita with a song that represented her heart. Asking God, despite the circumstances, or how the world is that He would give us the strength to live one day at a time. She’s left me a legacy that I want to carry on for the rest of my life. To love like Jesus loves, enjoy the little moments of the sitting in the sun or enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and ALWAYS giving God glory.
