  3. the end of 2025 means one thing… end of the year recap posts are about to flood your feed, so here’s mine. looking back, i can’t believe how much fit into this year. there’s no way i could recap everything because 2025 was slam packed, but it deserved its own post. the biggest thing, and the one that changed everything, is that i got engaged to my dream man. zach proposed to me on our very first date, and it only took me five years to finally say yes. he planned the sweetest engagement, and i don’t think anything will ever top that day until our wedding. we’re deep in wedding planning now, and i also said yes to the dress. not pictured, obviously. this year also included zach and i moving in together in denver and, in the same breath, he moved back home. so yes, we’re doing long distance again, but not for much longer… (wink wink) i said goodbye to my black hair era, was promoted into one of my dream positions, traveled for work, and finally took social media seriously. i hit 100k on tiktok, got signed with a management team, and was invited to my first brand event where i got to bring my mom and sister with me!!! i got to be a bridesmaid for my best friend, watched friends get married, have babies, and announce pregnancies, and we added the most chaotic puppy, clyde, to our lives. somewhere in there i also lost some wisdom and got my wisdom teeth taken out. character development. i know i’m forgetting things, but that’s how full this year was. grateful for every part of it. excited for 2026 (the year we get MARRIED)

Day 21/30 of my ABQ Adventures: Hike to Nambé Falls! 💦 😮 😍 Nambé Falls is a jaw-dropping DOUBLE waterfall on Nambé Pueblo land just 1.5 hours from ABQ, with one 100 ft-tall cascade and one 75 ft-tall one! 🥾 Two short trails lead from the parking area ($15/car), one to views of the upper falls and one to a lovely little swimming pool and cascade at the bottom. 💦 Your feet WILL get wet on the way to the lower pool, with hiking through the river required! When we went in June the water was knee high on me, and can be dangerous at peak runoff times or after storms. 📆 Nambé Falls is open 7am-7pm Thursday-Sunday, with last entry before 5pm. 🎒 Bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, and good footwear. The hikes are short, but can be very slippery and hot in the full sun. 🥵 🎣 Nambé Pueblo also welcomes fishing, kayaking (including rentals) and camping in this beautiful area for additional fees.
