  3. I’m finally able to post again after being banned for 2 weeks for no reason. But I wanted to give y’all a back story on the buck I killed. I live in a very small town. There’s a 3,500 acre piece of public right in front of my house. About a half mile up the road there’s a field with 3 apple trees in it. And every summer the deer come off the ridge to them apple trees. The first time I saw this buck was September 6th under the apple trees right beside of the main road. I stopped the car, took pictures, and watched him for several minutes. Everyone in the county knew about this buck. He was in that field every other day and people would stop to take pictures of him. On September 14th I posted on Facebook “May the best man get him”. I had him on trail cam across the river during September then he up and left. From September to October 31 the day I killed him, I never had another picture of him. I scouted that whole piece of 3,500 acres hanging trail cameras trying to find this deer. In the process, I found many other hunters trail cameras and stands. I would let their camera take a picture of me to let them know I didn’t steal anything, and move on. On October 29th I went to scout a new area. I made sure I wasn’t near anyone and hung a stand that afternoon. I went back and hunted October 31 and killed him that evening, 5 yards under my stand chasing a doe. I’m still speechless. With me being in nursing school and working, I never thought I’d be the man to get him. I only hunted 6 times this year and tagged out. Paw drew and the good lord helped me out big time with this one.
