It was the CrossFit community that provided Fowler and her family support through the nine months she was in the hospital and the years following. When Fowler returned to CrossFit, her first workout was at a “Train With Rich” event at @crossfitmayhem. “I was working out with Tia and Rich and the fittest people on Earth … me and Tia were going back and forth on a snatch complex … . Simple, repeatable strength that showed up late in the race.

  3. Came across these raw clips from my last 50-mile race. This was at mile 40. I was having stomach issues and my legs were completely dead. I had PR’d my marathon 6 days before this. I had all those voices in my head saying “just finish and don’t worry about what place you come in.” In this moment, it wasn’t about what my finish time was or what place I came in. It was about choosing discomfort and truly emptying the tank. To show myself that I’m capable of more than my mind wants me to believe. I’m still planning my 2026 race schedule. There will be some big goals on the horizon. Can’t wait to keep finding new parts of myself.
