I’m going to make a personal post later because Thanksgiving is hard for so many people, but I wanted to share this haircut because it’s my favorite one I’ve done in a really long time! My heart just melts when I look at this video, I actually get tears in my eyes. It was a really special experience to do such a huge transformation. Thank you, Regan @reganberger for trusting me❤️ The video pretty much speaks for itself, but what I can say is that Regan has extraordinarily thick hair and so I carved really really deep into it with my razor, especially since we were going so so short. Halfway through the haircut it also looks adorable and that’s what it’s going to look like as it grows as long as it keeps getting cut into with a razor so it’s nice and textured. I’m so happy with this one. I’ve worn my own hair this short, quite a few times in my life and it’s just so empowering.

  2. When you’re a new mom, often the last thing you have time for is fussing with your hair. @mistergarf wanted to add a little personality to her while still keeping it low maintenance. So we carved out some weight and added petals around her face, so even when she throws her hair up, there’s still softness and movement framing her gorgeous features. It’s the kind of cut that gives you a little lift every time you look in the mirror, without adding one more thing to your morning routine. For hair like this, I recommend using New Wash original. It’s fine but there’s a lot of it, which means it can fall flat one day and feel puffy the next. Unlike shampoo, it doesn’t strip your natural oils, so your texture stays soft, moldable, and easy to style. It gives that perfect lived-in feel without a lot of effort.   3. My heart explodes every time I watch this cut happen. There are so many of you that are new around here. I’m sharing it again. I’m also going to see Jayci soon so we can see the difference of when it grew in! It’s been about a year…. A fun French bob for @jayci.thisconnectedlife ❤️ there was a moment when I was cutting her hair and she said “this doesn’t even look like my hair” I absolutely love my job and that I get to show people what’s possible with their hair. So grateful every day! Jayci has fine stick straight hair so I added undressed and hair balm to give it a little more movement. I also sent her home with some New Wash. She has fine hair that tends to be on the frizzy side and gets oily really quickly at the scalp but dry at the ends. With New Wash, she’ll be able to go a few extra days without cleansing her hair and because it’s a cream cleanser, it’ll make her hair more moisturized and as an added benefit more moldable so styling it will be so effortless. Disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with each other>>> No wifi, no tv, little to no phone service… just us, in a tiny home with whatever we decided to bring for “entertainment” (i.e. coloring book, games, snacks, etc). Oftentimes, life can be super “loud” and chaotic at home; especially because we’re business partners/ full time entrepreneurs. After long, exhausting work days, we have a tendency to fall into an autopilot mode (doom scrolling until we’re tired or Netflix & chilling until we pass out on the couch then wake up and repeat it all over again) that isn’t beneficial nor productive for improving the overall health of our life & our marriage. This getaway allowed us really unpack, unwind, & discuss A LOT that we’d been putting on the back burner; our wants, our goals, grievances &/or misunderstandings, future plans, expectations for our marriage, etc. It was such a beautiful & necessary reset!   3. Quick question, how long does it take you to fully detangle your hair? And do you detangle multiple times on wash day? I’ll go first. I only detangle once on wash days and it takes me about 30 minutes to an hour max. I also keep my hair in twists throughout the entire wash day process so I don’t have to re detangle.
