  2. Officially announcing that @chickfila_tacoma , both Steel street & Fircrest locations in Tacoma Wa has confirmed after this mornings meeting that they will be partnering with me this summer with my “All-Youth-Can-Eat” campaign to help feed thousands of hungry youth in the community. Local franchise owner, Lynnae Schneller, reached out to me recently after seeing one of my latest social media posts about the campaign to address hunger and she messaged me wanting to meet. Today we met and Lynnae expressed her deep interest in wanting to serve the community. She has said that she has been following me on Instagram and enjoyed my speeches on solidarity. She asked me, “Why did I start the campaign?” I told her, “I started All Youth Can Eat in order to directly address one of the biggest issues in the nation, while bringing people together in the process.” To me, it’s all about creating mpact in addressing the issues that hinder us all. Right now, in Washington state, approximately 1 in 6 children experience hunger, while 38% of all college students reported experiencing food insecurity. Hunger leads to malnutrition, weakened immune systems, cognitive delays, and increased risk of disease, particularly in young people. For the community, hunger leads to increased crime, long-term cycle of poverty, and strain on social safety nets. When we work together, we can address hunger head on and make sizable improvements that positively affect ALL! This summer we will make history by launching the largest restaurant-led youth feeding program in the cities of Tacoma, Seattle and Denver, Co, helping to feed those who need help the most. Hunger can’t win, when we all pitch in. #chickfila #allyouthcaneat #tacoma #LynnaeSchneller #feedtheyouth #feedthehungry #kwabiamoahforson #humanitarian #feedthoseinneed #seattle #denver

  1. Dear our customers and followers, As you know, this fundraiser is going on now, and I’m reaching out to ask for a significant favor to secure the new equipment required to complete our lineup. We’re just a little ways off from getting all the kitchen equipment and the retail appliances. Let me explain why. Some of you already knew, we’re planning to reopen at 1701 Division Ave., and everything is almost ready. Even though we calculated all the construction costs, the price was different at the end, and we unexpectedly spent more on materials that we hadn’t thought about with original quotes for almost everything, which costs 1.5 times more than we had already expected and paid… Then this happened: our food cart has been closed for 4 months and hasn’t generated any revenue since then… we didn’t expect that to happen. I have more explanations and details in the fundraising link. Unfortunately, we can’t afford to reopen on the 19th as a whole picture while working on building the new brick and mortar, as you all know. That’s why we’re closed on the 19th, as I mentioned in the last post before. So I met Brandon, who is a great friend of mine and of our business, and told him about the situation for the first time in February. So Brandon, the video director, and I filmed this video a few days after the meeting, and I didn’t want to do it because sometimes you just don’t want to ask for help because I still thought that we could barely get it done by ourselves by the end of April, but now I know for sure, we can’t. We’re definitely at a corner. And spring is almost here. We won’t be able to finish and see you without your help. Hopefully, I want to see you guys again. If you’re able to offer any support, no matter how small, it would greatly aid us in reopening our business in our new brick and mortar location. We’re genuinely stoked to be part of this amazing community once again… This fundraiser will go to cover the cost of reopening, and you can check for more details there. Thank you so much for your support and love, Young

  2. Dear customers, After 8 years of experience, it has come to an end, and I don’t know what to say to you about it. So many memories and experiences that I’ve never dreamed of in a million years. Something that started with 3 people with hope. Then a little fire became something from nothing. What a journey we’ve achieved throughout these years. Unfortunately, we’re closed. I didn’t tell you about something that is out of our control, and eventually, we finished with the food cart parked in the corner of the 19th’s grocery. A special thanks to the neighbors, and the late Mr. Yim, who had given us a chance to make this special spot possible to operate, and I will be forever grateful. I will always remember and appreciate the support and opportunity with an open heart. I’d like to thank Dave’s former owner Derek and current owner Dave for an amazing partnership and being supportive. Always wishing the best for you. And Martin, the man himself behind the scenes. I’ve always admired your craftsmanship and dedication beyond your time for allowing me to work alongside you and for providing such amazing patties. You did that for 8 years… Much appreciated. And Hannah and Chelsea from Franz Bakery for being supportive and helpful in maintaining our specialty order and always enjoying the company and fun memories. I’d love to tell the team, “THANK YOU,” and to all the former members who worked hard day in and day out for a long period of time. I genuinely appreciate the effort, work, commitment, and I’m thankful to know all of you personally and for giving us opportunities to lift this team as high as we could to serve our products to the people in the city of Tacoma. I really did my best, but in the end, there’s something that I could’ve improved. Also, I’m sorry if I fell short of my capabilities. Can I be better? Can we be better? We don’t know yet, but I’m excited to see what’s next and to share the new project we’ve been working on with everyone. More importantly, in conclusion, I love every part of the ups and downs of life at Burger Seoul. Thank you for being a part of such a wonderful journey. Goodbye 19th. ❤️ *reopening on 1701 Division Ave.
