It’s one of the most powerful wildlife experiences you can witness. . 📷 You’ll watch safely from viewing platforms as bears catch salmon, play, and compete sometimes just feet away. You will also be able to see them around the campground, on the trails and if you get a river permit, directly in the river! . 🏕️ To get here, you’ll first fly to King Salmon from Anchorage, then take a floatplane or boat into the park. You can visit for the day, stay overnight at Brooks Lodge(lottery based) or apply for a campground permit. I told you guys, that I’m starting to not recognize my body because I have been my heaviest for the past two years. Slowly the weight is melting off, I’m running faster, hiking higher, my body feels different. But in the same way, my body is looking different and I have been worried I would develop body dysmorphia because when I’m heavier = I’m curvier. And now that I am getting slender again, I’m losing all the things I have grown to love over the last two years. It should be the other way around, but now, things like a soft and fluffy belly or something more noticeable. I don’t have abs, I never did, so especially not after a baby. I’m reaching 30 in 6 months and so, I always kept it in the back of my mind I want to be my healthiest, ofcourse for my daughter but also to start a new season of my life on a high note. So ontop of marathons I wanna run, losing the remaining 50 pounds, hiking higher and higher. I want to look like the influencers in running and hiking space I look up to. I hope that whoever looks up to me for motivation or with admiration, you never stop seeing a little bit of you and me. I’m not perfect, I’m a little skinnier, a littler faster, and stronger but when I sit! I have rolls too!! I’m going to miss these rolls a lot because they protect my female body parts but also protect my daughter for nine months! But I don’t want to stagnate either! I hope to have…even a 2 pack!! 😅
