  1. Woke up this morning with the greatest sense of accomplishment. You see 365 days ago I decided that I had had enough with my relationship with alcohol and decided to quit drinking FOREVER. Just like that. Honestly, it was no longer serving a purpose. So here we are 1 whole year later. I feel amazing! My health is great. My relationship with my wife and kids is better than ever.   1. How’s the double-up ride down? From where I was, I thought he would surely catch an edge or pearl. This was his first surf stateside since being on the Goldy in April. His first surf in Hb. By far the shortest board he’s ridden & in his new @oneillusa 4-3 suit, thanks #Oneill & @tarlaban I think Zep’s surfed a total of 4 times this whole year. I am being very mellow about him and his little bro surfing. He's been really into bball & soccer. I try to make it all about fun, but I feel it has to be what they want to do. What fascinates me is how interested he is in copying my students and me as we practice Wave Ki; he listens and even takes notes during my workshops. Haha! He is the youngest surfer I know of doing Wave Ki and is at the very start of #surfing, yet he already knows to drop his bum and keep his head in the center whenever he loses balance. That’s way more than I knew after surfing for years. Thanks for loaning us the board @17thstboardshop it was perfect for him & thanks to @wheeler_hasburgh & all the #waveki groms for inspiring him to wanna surf. Brad says he talked with Ben about adding a bevel with concave on the rail like ice skates ..and Ben Aipa said let’s do it..   3. Thank you to everyone for all of your support throughout out the last couple months. My family and I are so Greatfull to have all of your support. My court date is 44 days out so I’m just enjoying life with family, friends and also trying to get in the water more . My daughter Ava is doing a lot better, she knows everyone believes her and also that her mommy&daddy will always support and protect her no matter what. Its one of the worse things that could ever happen to a child or a adult, it’s really sad there are people out there that can do what these crude acts to innocent children. Molestations happen way more than I knew as that’s something people don’t talk or try to think about, they try to block it out after it happened to them. I’ve had so many people come forward and tell me they went through, every message broke my heart knowing that molestations are such a common thing, I feel your pain and I feel for everyone that has gone through this. If anyone ever needs someone to talk to I’m here for you. I want to thank every single one of you for everything, it means a lot to us.
