  2. A couple of weeks ago, while caring for my mom, I decided to check myself into the ER after dealing with continuous pain for weeks. I hadn’t been training, so I was confused about what was going on. Limping around with back pain and a deep ache in my glutes, I finally got some tests done—and they diagnosed me with Rhabdomyolysis. For so long, I’ve pushed through any pain I felt while training, never realizing something more serious could be happening. I don’t know how long I’ve had this, but it’s now been four weeks since I last trained. The gym is more than just working out for me—it’s my therapy. Not being able to go has been heavy, but I trust that God sustains everything. Some days, I feel progress. Other days, it feels like day one again. But I declare this: I will be healed, my mom will be healed, and we will flourish together. God’s got us. The last picture was my last training session, which was a leg day. Felt extremely fatigued and nauseous.
