  1. This last week was unexpectedly VERY emotionally confrontational for me as a woman. For those of you who are new here or who haven't been around for years- the last 3 years have been a hellscape for me. I juggled losing 3 of my closest family members ( I have a very small family and previously lost my younger brother) while being a single mom, a business owner, working fashion weeks & editorial shoots and recovering from a very toxic and abusive relationship of which I was very much an integral part of the dysfunction. It Took way more time than I'd prefer to even start healing. Since I begun the process of discovering myself again ( with intense grief there's often no " going back" to who you once were- no matter how alluring that may seem.) I often reflected on my physical appearance & to be fully transparent I let me GAINING WEIGHT keep me from opportunities, friendships , dating- all because I felt embarrassed to be VISIBLE regardless of my heart in showing up. I kept myself from taking photos with my son, my friends, and during incredible experiences I sunk into the background as often as possible and felt just GROSS. But something has happened lately where I finally lost touch with that super skinny girl who felt so sad, anxious all of the time & validated soley by how she looked. I began the process of unpacking all of the guilt, anger and resentment of my losses that I was harboring in my body- eating myself alive with such a profound lack of love for who I am. Do I want to be healthier physically? Yes, of Course! But am I finally ready to stop hiding the love I have to share to myself and others? Also emphatically YES. Being vulnerable is the hardest thing in the world for me but here we go.I'd like to reintroduce myself- I'm Amanda Elaine. I'm loving, talented, passionate & ready to show up as myself again.

I was going to wait until I was " pretty" with makeup tomorrow because I'm 37 and sleepy- but I'm currently sitting in my storage room in a #florida monsoon ( literally) waiting to get back out to cleaning my backyard shed and decided NOW IS THE TIME. 😂 I've been hearing about " eyebrow blindness" and BABES- who let me go out like this????? This was 2017 & I was dating a full on makeup savvy woman at the time I had these brows and no one told me!!! 😂 why??? Anyways - I'm the almost 37 year old, a year with no Botox no skin makeup but brows in this video. Proving that #wecanchange 🤣 please pray for the years I walked around like that!   3. WE DO NOT HAVE WORDS! Ok, we have a few. A while back our awesome friend and cafe regular Bob Devin Jones wanted to throw a surprise party for the owners at Craft Kafe. He got in touch with one of our managers and planned and this party happen last week. What a beautiful night of friends and coworkers at Bob’s lovey house in the Southeast. The real surprise though was that Bob got in touch the Mayor and had the day proclaimed CRAFT KAFE DAY! We are truly and genuinely touched that this happened. Beyond that we are grateful we can serve our community in bigger ways than serving coffee and pastries. To say it means a lot to us is an understatement. We do what we do to give our city a little happiness and to be recognized like this is insanely humbling and at the same time undoubtedly rad. Again, thank you Bob Devin Jones and Mayor Welch and thank you St. Pete(and Tampa soon we swear) for letting us give you a little joy every day.

We were lucky enough to sit at the chef’s counter, watching Executive Chef Alex Chamberlain (formerly of Michelin-starred Kōsen) and his team transform every course into something unforgettable.🍴 What we ordered: 🥖 House milk bread with kombu butter
