Sunburst Ski Hill 📍8355 Prospect Dr | Kewaskum, WI 💲$25/person when booked 24 hours in advance; $30/person same day 🧒 Children must be 48" or taller to tube ❄️ WEATHER DEPENDENT! ☀ Sunburst Ski Hill is located in Washington County near the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Since 1984, Sunburst has been operating as a place for winter fun! It's an amazing place to get outdoors with the whole family! 🏔️ Located only 40 minutes from Milwaukee, Sunburst offers skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. The snow tube hill, in particular, is the LARGEST in the world, with 11 groomed lanes, a 90-foot hill, and 1000-foot runs, which allow you to reach speeds of up to 40 MPH! A "magic carpet" lift takes you to the top of the hill, so you don't have to lug your tube up! ☕ The location is generally open from mid-December through March, depending on the weather. There are concessions and a warming house located right next to the tube hill, and there is a restaurant in the lodge close to the ski slopes. If you need a locker to store items, they are located outside of the bathrooms (also very near the tube hill). This was our first time snow tubing and we had such a blast! The Greenhouse 📍419 Highland Dr | Kohler, WI 🕘9am-5pm 🇬🇧Located in the courtyard of the American Club in Kohler, this greenhouse originally stood in Lancashire, England, but was shipped and reassembled stateside. ☀️The interior was recently painted a lighter color, making it quite bright and airy as the floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows allow light to pour in. It's the perfect place to enjoy your drink, or you can take your beverage outside and roam the gardens! 🍵They offer coffee, espresso, and tea drinks, smoothies, and regular and adult milkshakes! They also have a small menu of light bites. ✅TIP: The location can be difficult to find, but just go through the front doors of the American Club lobby, head straight back and through a door that says The Greenhouse over the top. The American Club can seem a little intimidating, but the coffeeshop is open to the public. If you're lost, just ask someone working there! They are always very hospitable, even to people who are just stopping in for coffee!
