  3. There is no easy way to put this, but, over the weekend, we lost our dear Mr. Big; even typing this out doesn’t seem quite real. Unbeknownst to us, Biggie was battling a very aggressive cancer which had quickly spread throughout his little body. As you can imagine, we are shocked and heartbroken yet again — just months after losing our dear boxer, Dexter. Our home will never be the same without our little sausage…hoarding toys, stinkin’ up the joint, searching for his tennis ball or wishing he was with Grandpa Carl. One of the few things that bring a smile to our face is knowing that Biggie is reunited with his brother; he never knew a life without Dex and now they are together forever. We’ll miss you so much, Bigs. Say Hi to Dexter for us. ❤️

  3. Today marks 4 YEARS free of alcohol. I’m very proud of this achievement, and like I always say this post is just as much for me as anyone else who is thinking about quitting. If I can do it you can too. Better sleep, vastly improved moods, no more mornings of phantom regrets, and an enriched life outside of depressing bars. Plus, it feels great to go home at a reasonable hour, avoid looping conversations, and actually be able to remember the TV show you watched last night. Not to mention all of the health benefits. People may try to sneak in and knock you off of your cloud here and there, but fuck ‘em. They’ve got their own problems, and hopefully they can get back on track someday too. Thanks to my family, friends, and the complete strangers who have given support along the way. This is an act of love for myself and all of you.
