Some use second skin some don’t some want you do avoid the sun for 2 weeks, I don’t I just want you to be prepared and aware 🤪 After care these days is such a hot take lol it’s really not that deep imo and very basic care will get you right. There’s places that have sunny climates year around but most of us only get a few months to go live our summer best lives and I think you should still do that but with caution 🤷🏼‍♀️ If ur scabby then I would avoid submerging and soaking in the water. If you get in is it the end of the world?? No!! Should you clean it right after?? Yes!! If you are desperate to be a lizard in the sun then just put a piece of clothing over freshy and make sure you have spf on it 🤷🏼‍♀️ Camping??? Keep that cleanser spray or wash w you along w a jug of distilled water and some paper towels. You will be good ✔️✔️ My personal favorite is derm shield/second skin, keep that thang on maybe have an extra if ur getting crazy. Anyways xxxxxx thanks for the read

  1. “Rising from the Ashes” This piece explores the dualities of strength and fragility, harsh and soft, manmade and natural. Fire poppies must be germinated by fire in order to grow, so they are fairly rare. They only bloom for a short period of time and then wait patiently for the next fire. The fire poppy balances such a fragile existence (needing such specific circumstances to even exist at all) with the ability to withstand and even thrive from fire. I juxtaposed the paper-y flower against a rusting barbed wire fence. Barbed wire is so harsh and manmade, but in this image, it’s beginning to decompose and be overtaken by nature.   2. Introducing “All Hail the Loon” ~ this original will be available through Western Visions at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in September. You can snag prints this weekend at Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts and online soon as well! Two Yellow-Headed Blackbirds and a Wilson’s Warbler surround a Common Loon in breeding plumage. The Wilson’s Warbler admires the loon from its perch in the cattails. One Yellow-Headed Blackbird sings the praises of the loon while the other looks inquiringly to the viewer to ensure that they too take part in the worship of the loon. Since seeing my first loon on the Oregon Coast last year, I’ve become a little obsessed with these wild & beautiful birds. Patiently, I waited until Spring to catch one dressed in its best breeding plumage. For this piece, I chose to include some of my favorite wetlands birds as friends (or perhaps subjects) of the Common Loon.

Bush did not mince words in comparing the terrorists who attacked our nation on September 11th, 2001 with the terrorists who stormed our nation’s Capitol on January, 6 2021: “There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home.   2. Last year, I was proud to introduce the CAHOOTS ACT in Congress. CAHOOTS saves the city of Eugene alone more than $8 million per year. In 2019, CAHOOTS responded to nearly one in five 911 calls in the city. Out of the 24,000 calls CAHOOTS responded to, they requested police backup 1% of the time. Now, under the American Rescue Plan, Oregon is receiving $1 million in funds to develop a program similar to Eugene’s Cahoots! It is absolutely crucial that we support expanding community-based mobile crisis intervention services like Cahoots to reduce reliance on local police. Programs like these aid by connecting people experiencing mental health and substance use crises with behavioral and mental health specialists and critical treatment. This model could change the way our country responds to mental health crises.
