  3. See I’m an all flats fried chicken kinda girl, but drumsticks falling off the bone??😭😮‍💨 has a special place in my heart. My best friend told me to make more easy & effortless meals for my busy moms like her 👑 yes ma’am ✍🏽✍🏽 Y’all loved the smothered chicken breasts in the crockpot, so here is a different way to do it with the drumsticks. So I have a few pointers in case this prep seemed like too many steps: -the onions and peppers aren’t necessary, I just love them. But you can buy them pre-cut. -also instead of fresh onions and garlic, you can use onion powder and garlic powder. -The Lipton onion soup mix is good too. I put half the packet in the gravy and half on top.  -your rosemary doesn’t have to be fresh, go buy a jar of dried rosemary  -flour/ cornstarch slurry to thicken the gravy -I cooked mine on high for 4 hours, because I was hungry, but you can do low for about 6.  -if you want the chicken, more browned and more on top of the gravy instead of in the gravy, put the veggies underneath • • • #quickmeals #whatieatinaday #crockpotmeals #cookwithme

  2. The sun has set on @clvc_14_red season! And what a season it was. These girls had many ups and downs. But the growth these girls showed this season was amazing! Not only did they grow as players, but more importantly as young women. They learned so what it truly meant to function as a team, to be committed to each other on and off the court and to absolutely never give up. They could have easily decided to shut down and quit when things got tough, or they were asked to do things outside of their comfort zone.   2. After a beautiful weekend with all of you #atthebeach @theavettbrothers in The Dominican Republic it’s so surreal to come home, and down, feeling sick and then to the hospital with appendicitis. I don’t always post about his death. But life is still messy. Everyone’s is. Life is just that way. Im writing this to remind you for relationships that matter to you and it’s cliche, but keep the lines of communication open even when it’s hard, even when you think you think you are right and they are wrong, even when are mad, discouraged, think it’s impossible to be on the same page, communicate anyway. When we talk to each other, we start to understand, see a different viewpoint, and eventually, we learn to see and accept our differences.
