  1. (UPDATE: Love to Nola Activist @fff_zulqarnain holding the flag!!!✊🏾) . . My little 2 cents … IMO Drake dissin’ was only 15% of this performance. He did hella Gemini petty maneuvers towards Drake lol (Serena crip walkin’ 👏🏾 )… but his “pettiness” in giving Americanism the finger in a way that others haven’t tho! 👽On one of the most watched stages in world curated by a national league operating through a plantation agenda DURING our president’s facist takeover - Black art is so critical!!!Of course it looks different than the Black Arts Movement in the 60s + 70s but I believe that this was a LOUD call for artist to use their canvas (platforms) to narrate truth, to protest Americanism, to unite despite our intersectional differences (crips + bloods) and to take risks while having to survive within the system. (And yes woven in propaganda of course). 🇸🇩 An activist waving the Sudan / Palestine flag through protest in the midst of folks crip walking and turf dancing (while security chased him) … was so on point. The performance was an ode to Black culture (narration included) to remind the world that we built this entire country (hello 🇺🇸 formation during “Humble”) and now it’s time to move a little different INTER-communally. 👽But also from Compton to the Congo - the importance of nurturing space for solidarity against the machine is pivotal. It’s not lost on Kendrick (nor many of us) the juxtaposition of the exploitation of the NFL 🏈 (including how they INHUMANELY displaced hella house less folks to curate LIX) vs the message that K Dot is sending as the first solo rap artist to perform on this stage. 👽This performance wasn’t for the wealthy folks in that stadium (maybe as a slap in the face of sorts) and maybe it wasn’t a “traditional” Super Bowl caliber performance - but it’s intention was a homage focused bat signal to us! 2025 is forcing us to tap into our creative intellectual property … the paradigm shift is mandatory and DON’T let this be a distraction but rather a declaration … watching this 15 min of the extraction bowl was all I needed … back to work & rest✌🏾 . . . #superbowl2025 #kendrick #america #blackartsmovement #blackart

  3. 🌍 SHARE! 🌍 You can’t celebrate Earth Day 🌎 without Black people! 👇🏾 1. Black folks invented sustainability and was using these practices way before the 70s. During the transatlantic slave trade to today - sustainability is the Black blueprint. @dominiquedrakeford has done a video about this - go follow her and listen to her podcast @compost_cotton_cornrows (bonus: listen to my episode today!) 🍃 2. SUPPORT, FOLLOW, and PAY Black scientists, farmers, gardeners, environmentalists, activists, and nature artists. I know many of y’all don’t follow enough of us anyways but support comes in many ways! Earth day is not just about nature - it’s about the people too! Follow @blackgirlenvironmentalist & @wawa_gatheru or @raewynngrant 🐻! 3. SPEAK 🗣️ UP about environmental racism towards Black communities! Did YOU KNOW THAT 70% OF BLACK WOMEN DO NOT HAVE CLEAN, SAFE DRINKING WATER? No one speaks up about it as much as they do white communities. Everyone deserves safe drinking water but the lack of inclusion and efforts towards Black communities is always bottom. Black women are and have been doing the work to combat clean water, clean air, and so much more. RESEARCH how Black people in your cities, states are being impacted and what you can do! 4. BUY SMALL BLACK OWNED! ESPECIALLY, BLACK WOMAN OWNED! Yall don’t buy Black owned enough and the Black dollar helps us thrive and continue doing what we love to stay out of work spaces that harm us - freedom is building our own! I SELL MY ART WORK! Buy a print today! 🍃✊🏾🌍 and support Black outdoor stores like @outlandish.nyc 🥾 4. PROTECT Black women, trans women, and mothers - including birthing people. Black women are the most disrespected in the world and our healthcare system is failing us - HARD. Black women die at childbirth at a 243% rate than white women! SAY IT AGAIN! ✨ BONUS: SUPPORT THE BLACK JOY MOVEMENT! ESP us Black folks whom want to adventure in the outdoors / nature! Help curate those safe spaces to do so on the trails, campsites, gardens, the slopes, etc! @jujumil + @colourthetrails is a group you can support! Anyways, go outside and enjoy your earth day (but after you do the work ✊🏾) 🦋🐝 🌎😊

  3. FWD oversteer is one of the least practiced transient states in vehicle dynamics. Many track orgs won’t allow large angles. Most people don’t want to waste time bringing a FWD to a drift session. So ideally, one would practice on the simulator or empty parking lot before applying it in a practical setting. In martial arts, basic falling techniques are taught to avoid injury. The plan isn't to fall, but at least you're prepared when the time comes. Oversteer practice past the limit will help build pre-planned decisions in a bailout situation, based on factors the driver has already experienced - rather than coming up with a plan on the spot. It also helps build confidence using oversteer to slightly rotate the car on corner entry, in a more practical use case (shown at 0:23). If you are reading this, could you put a flag emoji 🇦🇽 in the comments so I can tell how many people read the description? It would help a lot. I suppose this video might be rage bait for those who can’t read, even though that’s not the intent. IF someone was to do it on the mountain, ideally it’s on a closed course or a scouted area. Otherwise, it would have to be on a corner where the exact time available to change one’s driving line is known. So for this example, I happen to know that one of the fastest downhill drivers would take 5 seconds to cross paths after they become visible - more than enough to change my line if needed. Anyone attempting this should have similar familiarity of the corners they are choosing, and ensure they actually have a large margin of error. Acura Integra spinout video: @medusa_fk8 (also on YouTube) Note that this was a 2015 video and he has created a reaction video on YouTube reflecting on past mistakes. No need to clown on the guy anymore lol, he is much more experienced now. 3. This week the news was released that our Orca sis Tokitae (Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut, her Lummi name) has been granted permission by her “owners” to go home to a sanctuary in the Salish Sea. This brings up a lot of feelings because while this is a long fought win, it’s a situation that should never had happened if we all honored our relationships to non-human kin, as the Lummi have - her direct human relatives. Thank you to those at the forefront of that fight (@oursacredsea) and we hope her journey home helps us all connect to the greater history of human violence and the future ahead of reparations. We know that road ahead is filled with lots of questions about how she gets home and what that process looks like. There’s also the hurdle, as with anything, of funding. Stay tuned as we are here to help those who are organizing. The big other news this week was that in a historic event of collaboration amongst 191 countries, a commitment to protect 33% of the biodiversity on Earth was made at COP15. Another win that has been long fought and championed by many, our dear @prospektmiraorg, and Indigenous and rural communities with deep relationship and sacred instructions to protect biodiversity. With both these scenarios, we feel a bit of relief for the more the human world, and at the same time we wonder about the other 66% - why not a commitment to try and protect all the biodiversity that’s on the brink of collapse? Is it simply that we’re too little too late in the greater trajectory? As most of us know, Indigenous Peoples protect 80% of the world’s remaining biodiversity. So , when it comes to this new UN commitment, we sure as hell better see a significant majority of investment go towards Indigenous Peoples as well as a commitment to Indigenous rights. Because, whether it’s our Orca sis or the destruction of old growth forest and other critical biodiversity regions, none of this would have happened if people took Indigenous rights seriously and supported any community, indigenous or not, who lives in deep and direct relationship to the land.
