Vaikka ekassa kuvassa ollaan Atten kanssa dramaattisia ja vakavia, niin koko muu aika Kuopion tanssifestivaaleilla naurettiin ja nautittiin savolaisesta kesästä ja maailman parhaiden tanssijoiden esityksistä. Otettiin me tietysti myös pari kuvaa muistoksi tältäkin Kuopion reissulta, sillä just tässä kaupungissa me tavattiin Atten kanssa seitsemän vuotta sitten. Atte oli 20-vuotias nuori lupaava Kansallisbaletin tanssija, ja hän tuli tanssifestivaaleille esittämään Jorma Uotisen Pateettisen baletin soolon. Esitys oli vaikuttava ja soolo suurenmoinen, ja Atte erottui joukosta tyyppinä ja tanssijana. Ystävystyimme heti, ja meno on ollut ratkiriemukasta siitä saakka. Kun satumme samaan kaupunkiin, samoille toreille tai lavoille, tapahtuu aina jotain hullunkurista, odottamatonta, hilpeää ja hauskaa. Niin tälläkin kertaa Kuopiossa. Haastattelin Attea yleisön edessä tanssista, taiteesta, ystävyydestä ja Kuopiosta. Tupa oli täysi ja kaverikuvajono pitkä. Atte juoksi suoraan haastattelusta valmistautumaan illan gaalaan. Ensimmäisellä tapaamisella vuosia sitten me otettiin kuva muistoksi Veljmies-patsaalla Kuopion kauppahallin edessä. Ja tietysti palasimme rikospaikalle. Kesäillan valo oli ihmeellisen kaunis, ja hetkeä myöhemmin taivaalla komeili peräti kaksi sateenkaarta. Kiitos hienoista Veljmies-kuvista @elsasaisio 🧡🧡🧡 * Back at it! We met with Atte years ago in Kuopio where he was performing a brilliant solo by Jorma Uotinen. We became friends immediately. This week we were back in Kuopio. Atte performed again in the gala of the Kuopio Dance Festival and I was in town to see the shows and interview Atte in a Meet&Greet. Such a great festival week. Hope to be back next summer!
