  1. Wanna build your single leg explosive power⁉️ JUNE 9th my Built To Explode training program drops 🔗 in bio for exclusive discounts launch day🤝🏼 I get a lot of questions about the single leg jump variations I use in my training - this was progression I used to get to this point, both strength and form must be dialed in to avoid injury: ▪️proper warm ups for not only your muscles but tendons, promote balance and stability for positional awareness and better coordination. Must build strong foundation in order to safely progress to more powerful movement. This stuff is key ▪️extensive, low intensity plyos drills to start building strength and endurance for generating power, by quickly generating force after stretch, tendon stiffness for reactive strength ▪️learn to safely absorb force during eccentric phase, coming down rapidly and keeping proper form heel up on ball and toes of feet to properly support joints/alleviate force on joints by absorbing w/surrounding muscle + tendons ▪️progressively transition from low intensity to increased intensity, maintain form by breaking up more power reps w low extensive, then building up to close to 100% effort reps but starting these at lower volume to ensure we maintain all the points covered above ▪️more injury occurs from not properly absorbing force on the way down - generating so much power that you can’t safely control coming down making contract with the floor, sometimes could also be you’re not stable enough between reps and pushing off your rep is already compromised the fits are always @oneractive - code LINNEA 🔗 in bio to save at checkout 🤞🏼💘 #plyometrics #plyometrictraining #athletictraining #explosivetraining #explosivepower #legdayworkout

  2. “MY ANKLES COULD NEVER” - movement execution/efficiency starts from the feet, up; how you stabilize from the ground impacts the force you’re able to produce. Better your ankles + feet support you, the better you move! 🔗 in my bio to train for strong ankles + feet for better performance applying the concepts to familiar workout movements (and new ones!)♨️ MENU: 🔻accept + control force - ankle stability allows us to efficiently decelerate and stop or catch ourselves/load against gravity/applied forces to help us properly engage our muscles to improve performance (speed, strength, etc) and protect joints (2x4 per side) 🔻high frequency + low amplitude prep - reapply force with high rep but lower impact drills to set proper mechanics/heels elevated, arm swing, toes up, etc, promote tendon stiffness and rhythm before increasing intensity (2x8 per side) 🔻high frequency + lateral quickness - lateral ankle + foot stability, not just forward movement, changing directions, avoiding injury by accepting and controlling force laterally and adding speed to improve efficiency (3x10-12 taps per side) 🔻multi-directional control - producing force changing directions, ankle stiffness for control in positions, especially when changing directions rapidly for efficiency when foot impacts ground to produce power (3x4 per side per set, 3 bounces 3 over + back taps = 1 rep) 🔻store + release energy from static positions - increased muscle recruitment to produce optimal power out of positions, having positional control from stable foot + ankle position/heel elevated/proper joint angles for increased efficiency (3x4 per side + set) 🔻explosive power from stretched position - power out of stretched positions + bounces in deep, stretched position for muscle endurance/increased tension, while maintaining joint ankles/stiffness for stability and increased power (3x3-4, 3 bounce + tuck jump = 1 rep) THE FIT: Umber Brown SoftMotion exclusive @oneractive (XS everything) code LINNEA♥️ #explosivepower #plyometrics #athletictraining #explosivetraining #anklestability

  2. Tuck Planche Progressions⚡️ Feet elevated drills are a game changer in your journey to mastering the tuck planche. By elevating your feet, you’re able to focus on the proper form, positioning and balance needed in the planche. These drills are stepping stones to more advanced variations. They lay the foundation for your journey towards mastering the tuck planche and allow you to adjust the difficulty for each progression. Depending on your level, you can also perform these drills in straddle and full. If you are someone who is stuck at a plateau, this is a great way to place more demand on the core, shoulders, and overall stability. Now, let’s dive into the five tuck planche progressions: 1️⃣ Tuck Planche Alternating Feet Bounces - Find your rhythm as you alternate bouncing one foot at a time while maintaining that tuck position. It’s a dance of strength and balance. 2️⃣ Tuck Planche Both Feet Bounces - Take the challenge up a notch by simultaneously bouncing both feet. The goal is to keep the same form and not change the level of your hips. It’s a true test of core stability and control. 3️⃣ Tuck Planche Feet Raises - Understand how to elevate & lift through your core by raising both feet together without bouncing them. The control required here is your ticket to tuck planche mastery. 4️⃣ Tuck to Adv Tuck Leans - Transition smoothly from tuck to advanced tuck, only lean far enough to maintain correct form. This is refining your technique & building the necessary strength for harder variations. 5️⃣ Planche Lean Slide into Tuck - The goal here is to maintain proper positioning as you bring the knees in and extend them back out. Since you are being assisted at the feet, I personally love using these drills for form & activation, because you can really focus on your weaknesses. Enjoy the process, embrace the challenge, and keep pushing your limits. Your body is capable of incredible things. These feet elevated drills are your ticket to unlocking that next level. Let’s go! If you don’t know how to incorporate these drills into your routine…send me a message and I’ll talk to you about it!
