So here it is… When my wedding day makeup appointment was canceled an hour before I was supposed to sit in the chair, I never expected it to turn into a story that 1.7 million people on Instagram (and another 200k on TikTok!) would end up sharing with me. It was such a vulnerable moment — one that could’ve easily just faded away into the internet void. But instead, it turned into this unbelievable moment that I’ll never forget. The team at Sephora didn’t have to do anything (truly this story would have disappeared into the internet as we consumed the next piece of content), but they went above and beyond. They reached out with the kindest messages, followed up multiple times, and then sent this incredible gift — a carefully curated box worth over $2,000, filled with products I’ve been dying to try, plus a spa day at one of my favorite places in Rhode Island, @thebodhispa 🫶 The thought and care that went into this gesture didn’t go unnoticed. It can’t undo what happened that day, but it truly meant the world — and it shows so much integrity and heart behind the brand. I truly have so much respect for Sephora after this. To everyone who commented, shared, or DM’d me — thank you for turning a not-so-great wedding day story into something actually beautiful and memorable. (When my kids ask about my wedding one day, I can’t believe I’ll have a whole viral video to show them 😂).
