This morning I woke up with a striking pain in my left hip, barely able to walk because it feels like there’s prickles or needles in my hip and any pressure on that leg makes it 100x worst. This pregnancy has been different from the first, but I am grateful that I’ve been able to carry my son and hopefully birth life to him (🙏🏾). I know there are many mothers out there who struggle to even conceive and I always consider them when thoughts of complaining arise.   3. You’re never fully ready for motherhood until you actually experience it. Second time around and guess what, it’s true what they say, “every single one is different.” This time around has been difficult mentally for me . With all that’s happening globally with the pandemic and the state with which our country is in, I kept thinking of all the things that could possibly go wrong i.e. Me catching COVID-19, complications during labor, possibly out of a job etc. Thankful, I have people around me and mom friends who assure me that everything will be okay and remind me constantly to just continue praying and to remain positive . Today I’m 32 weeks and patiently waiting to meet “junior” (as we’ve been calling him) . Baby naming the second time around has been so difficult.
