  2. My Journey to Tiwi’s Beauty Studio: A Dream in the Making Hey loves, it’s Tiwi! I’ve been meaning to share this with you for a while now, and today, I’m finally taking the leap. If you know me, you know I’ve always loved grooming. I believe that when a woman looks and feels good, she carries herself with confidence and power. For me, hair has always been at the heart of that. I started selling wigs in 2019 while doing my master’s, but I soon realized many women didn’t know how to properly install them. So, I taught myself—not just for me, but to help my customers feel their best. For years, this was my side hustle while I worked a full-time job. But as work demands grew, my business suffered. I eventually put it on hold, and that hurt. It felt like I had let my dream die before it could flourish. In 2023, I finally took a leap of faith—I quit my job to pursue my passion full-time. I started from home with a small setup, relying on my loyal clients and word of mouth. By August 2024, I finally got a shop. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. You may wonder why I haven’t shared much about this journey until now. The truth? Anxiety and perfectionism held me back. I second-guessed myself, wondering if I was really ready. I focused on everything that wasn’t right instead of appreciating how far I had come and how much God had done for me. But today, that changes. Despite still being a work in progress, Tiwi’s Beauty Studio is officially open to all of you! ☺️ This dream of mine is now a reality, and I am beyond grateful to finally share it with you.
