  1. Aerial feeling in « Les Vires du Jardin », better to stay on your feet! For the story, when I was 16, I motivated myself to reach the Y couloir, departing from Argentière. I remember not being in great shape that day, and after crossing the rimaye and doing the 30 meters of mixed climbing, I accidentally fell asleep on the small ledge where we rappel 😂 I think I stayed there for an hour, just long enough for the sun to burn my entire face, not even my eyelids were spared. What a strange feeling when you wake up... I quickly turned back and came back the next week to take my revenge, this time doing the loop from the « Glacier du milieu » to reach the Y. #bestnapever I had to create a connection with this face, because last spring with @aurel_lardy we opened « Les Vires du Jardin » and made the first ski descent of the Oxford couloir! #merrychristmas #exploration #sharing #ski #steepskiing

  2. On Monday 29th, @faymanners and I went skiing on the south face of the Moine. Better known for its mountain itineraries and climbing routes, it’s a beautiful summit that’s visible from the vallée blanche. I’ve had the opportunity to visit the Moine for climbing, and also to guide my first clients. In 2021, I skied the cracks on the west face. The South Face was skied for the first time by Jean-Marc Boivin in 1987, with a helicopter drop and the mythical images of the movie « Extrêmement vôtre », via the normal route. In 2016, a variant was opened that takes the start of the South Ridge, then join the top of the normal route. This line is more direct and, in my opinion, more logical on skis than the 87’ line. Making turns up there made my « Chamoniard » heart resonate The day before, on our way up to the refuge du Couvercle, we also took the opportunity to ski the west couloir of the Pierre à Joseph.   2. Le bonheur en une vidéo. 🛁🌸 Un moment hors du temps grâce à @monpremiersouffle… 4 ans après le bain lacté de Côme, on a voulu revivre ça pour Marceau, la magie a à nouveau opéré. Quel bonheur de le voir lâcher prise à ce point, de le voir si détendu, encore plus paisible qu’il ne l’est déjà au quotidien. C’était fou aussi de le voir placer ses petites mains devant son visage, comme il l’a fait à toutes les échographies. C’est comme ça je pense qu’il était pendant ma grossesse, l’eau et le lange lui rappelle les sensations de sa vie dans le ventre de maman… C’était magique ! Un grand merci Laury et @emma_gli pour ce moment. PS : je précise que les fleurs sont de saison, cultivées sans pesticide, une culture raisonnée et durable, directement produites par @latelier_duvegetal_dedilan - il n’y a donc aucun risque de toxicité pour le bébé. Prestation offerte et partagée avec amour. ♥️

Pour la Tofly. J’imagine que tu seras de la partie. Quand à eux, nos amis chiliens font une superbe commémoration où l’on s’est endormi il y a 366 jours dans la même tante et les deux plus proches amis de Juan. Ils posent une belle plaque en l’honneur de leurs ami, frère, mentor Juan. Tu as marqué les gens par ta personnalité, ton ski, ton sourire, ta simplicité et ton aura. A l’hiver 2023, avec Clovis et Charles nous passons 5 journées exceptionnelles coupés du monde dans la face nord des Grandes Jorasses. Pendant ce même temps, Yannick est monté avec son sac rempli de batteries de drone pour nous filmer depuis l’abri des Périades. Chacun de notre côté nous vivons des moments marquants.
