Paul’s words live in my mind: “For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do, this I keep on doing.” - Romans 7:19 following Christ does not make you immune to struggle, it makes you more aware of it. i used to think holiness meant never falling. now i know it means refusing to stay down. the enemy wants believers trapped in secrecy, smiling at church, bleeding in private. but healing begins where honesty lives. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” - Psalm 51:10 so, if im being honest, this is who i am. i am not the “perfect Christian girl.” i am not untouched by temptation. i am not beyond needing God’s mercy, daily. but i am also not condemned. not abandoned. not disqualified. grace is not permission to keep sinning, it is the reason i can get back up and keep surrendering. if you’re fighting battles no one sees, if you love God but feel ashamed of your patterns, if you’re tired of pretending you have it all together… you are not the only one.
