Attention all homeware lovers, @mondego_outlet is now in Leeds! 😍🫶🏻 Just on the outskirts of the city, this Portuguese stoneware outlet is just stunninggggg, I could have spent hours in here trying to decide what I wanted! 🤭 They really do have the most beautiful little espresso and coffee cups, if I had a coffee machine for Christmas I’d be running here to grab some new cups for sure! I went for some larger pieces like the set of scalloped oven dishes because they’re so weighty and well made I wanted pieces that would last me a long long time. They ranged from £6-19 in the sizes I picked. 🫶🏻 I also got a set of little snack bowls bc I know I’ll get use out of them all the time, love my daily snacks, especially this time of year 🤭 📍 Roundhouse Business Park, LS12 1AH 🚗 There is a car park but it is off a busy main road & there’s not tonnes of spaces. My favourite hotel in York? 🥰🫶🏻 (Code victoria15 for 15% off stays. Use this on a voucher & then redeem the voucher for your room booking) It’s a solid 10 from me, I would happily recommend @guesthousehotels to anyone following me. 10 is pretty high & I don’t think I’ve given this to a hotel before so here’s what I loved about it: ✨ The most important- the bed! The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. (Everyone’s bed preferences are different though so this is my personal opinion, but it was perfect for me) ✨ The atmosphere. Calm, comfortable & homely. ✨ A free snack pantry?! Open till 10pm. ✨ The bar area. Such a comfy space with great cocktails & there’s a little train that runs along the picture rail throughout the day, CUTE! ✨ The record player. They have a vinyl wall to switch ones in your room out with. What a lovely, relaxing addition to a personal space for the night. ✨ There’s a pickup service for your luggage at York train station and they take it away on a little bike and have it ready in your room when you get there. I’ve never seen this before! You’re looking around a 15 min walk from the station through the centre of York or maybe a 5 min taxi ride? The walk is beautiful though & even better without having to carry luggage around. Rainy Sundays in Haworth eating the best roast 🍂 It’s no secret by now for people who’ve followed me for a while that @thehawthornhaworth sits in my top spot for roasts in Yorkshire. I’ve not visited in a year, so I had to go back in my fave season to try some new items & their autumn cocktails! 😋 Their ‘Pumpkin Spiced Espresso Martini’ is deliciousssss. If you love a sweet coffee then this cocktail is for you, personally I love loads of sugar in mine so I’d give it a 10/10. If you like a stronger hit of coffee then I’d recommend their OG Espresso Martini. 🎃 Starters are always amazing here, I reckon most people come for just the roast but the starters aren’t to be overlooked! 🍁 Salmon Scotch Egg, Thai Lobster Bisque 🍂 Cauliflower Pakoras, Mango Chutney & Raita For my roast I went with their ‘Slow Roasted Shoulder Of Lamb’ as I’ve grown up eating slow cooked meats with my roasts at home & I just prefer that soft, slow cooked texture & crispy outside. It was perfection tbh, I can’t fault it. Emily went for the Chateaubriand which is cooked rare & they have multiple cuts of steak you can choose with your roast, all sitting around the £24- 34 price point. It was so soft. 👌🏻 With every roast you get: 🍁 Pan Juice Gravy (Unmatched 100/10) 🍂 Garlic Roasties (Best I’ve had out) 🍁 Tenderstem Broccoli 🍂 Cavolo Nero 🍁 Roasted Carrot 🍂 Cauli Cheese 🍁 Yorkshire Pud 🍂 Leaks & Garden Peas I can’t believe we managed to fit it in but if you can, that Sticky Toffee Pud is up there with my mums honestly, UNREAL! 👏🏻 This roast still stays in my top spot, who agrees?! 🫶🏻 [Gifted meal] #yorkshirefood #yorkshirelife #yorkshirefoodguide #haworth #brontecountry #sundayroast #hiddengem #cosyseason
