Hello Lovers! 💗 I would like to draw attention to what could be my Top #1 favourite pie from @dilcoffeetrail which is the Matcha Strawberry Pie (beating the reigning Strawberry Burnt Butter Frosting cake). If you like DilCoffeeTrail's banoffee pie, this is their Matcha version. Going upwards from their buttery biscuit base, you have smooth and silky premium Matcha pastry cream layered with slices of sweet strawberries, topped with a generous amount of fluffy whipped cream and finally dusted with Matcha Powder. The Matcha flavour is very subtle and not too strong - perfectly balanced with the strawberries and the whipped cream - not one flavour over pronounced the other. If you're into that strong taste of Matcha, you would think at first that you can't really taste it, but the more you eat the pie, the more you can taste the Matcha. The flavour that really shined through in the pie however was the biscuit base! You can even taste that more than the Matcha and Strawberries. I also liked how the crust is a bit firmer because the Matcha and whipped cream are very soft and pillowy so you need something firm to eat it altogether with. That being said, with every pie or cheesecake that DilCoffeeTrail make, one of their signatures to me, is their biscuit crust base! That has always been consistent to me no matter what pie or cheesecake it is. If you would like to try out their Matcha Strawberry Pie, check out DilCoffeeTrail's IG story as they post their menu on there every morning or you can pre-order a whole pie in advance. Other than that, we also had their Cold Brew Coffee and Fruit Tea which have always been enjoyable to drink, especially on a hot day. (Photos were taken weeks ago)

Hello Lovers! 💗 It's the 31st of January and I just wanted to share with all of you loves that it's my birthday!!! 🎂🎈🥳🎉🎊🎁 I wanted to extend all of my heartful thanks and appreciation to all of you for following me, reacting to my stories, the daily dms just conversing about food and supporting me throughout this food journey! I'm glad to say that even for some followers who I have never met before, they have also become my dear friends. I love all of the energy and interactiveness that you give me! You make all of this worthwhile. Featured here is a Strawberry Burnt Butter Frosting Cake by @dilcoffeetrail . Anyone close to me (or follows me closely) would have probably guessed that I have a major thing for strawberries so this was an absolutely perfect surprise birthday cake for me. The smell is HEAVENLY and oh so mouth-watering. If this scent could be captured and made into scented candles or perfume, I would buy it in a heartbeat because I am obsessed!! This cake is oh so very sweet! So you have been warned. Major sweet tooths would absolutely go crazy for this cake and little kids would definitely get the sugar rush high. I had to pair this cake with a nice cup of hot tea to wash it down nicely. Took me a while to finish a slice.... And then I ate another one. 🤣 The fresh strawberry pieces on top helped to tone down the sweetness so I would have wanted there to be more pieces on top, for every slice, for every guest to enjoy. With this, I hope that everyone has a wonderful Sunday full of laughter, full of love and around people that matter to you. We're at the end of the first month of 2021 and yknow what? We're gonna be just fine for the rest! I for one am definitely looking forward!

Hello Lovers! 💗 Looking for a place that serves delicious comfort food such as Mac & Cheese (you can even get them with steak or chicken bits), Loaded Fries, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken strips, Cheese Steak Sandwiches and so on? Well @thephatbelly.bn is the place to go! Located along the same row as Margherita Pizzeria, near Supa Save Mata Mata. If you didn't know, Phat Belly actually started off as an IG business known for selling their cheese steak sandwiches and cottage pies and now they have finally ventured into opening up their own restaurant around last July of this year. Tried out their Steak and Fries ($17.00) which was 200g Angus Ribeye that comes with mushroom gravy made out of real mushrooms, placed on top with fries served on the side. You can have this with sour cream mashed potatoes with chives instead which was unfortunately out of stock that day. Asked for medium rare doneness and they hit it on point!! The steak was tender, juicy, succulent and nicely seasoned with the mushrooms on top. I would actually come here again for their steak! We also ordered their Loaded Gorilla fries ($6.50), which were good to be shared between 2-3 people. I loved how this dish was served with melted mozarella cheese and fried chicken pieces so it can be even more filling. Finished our drinks quite quickly so would recommend getting two drinks for yourself, not because the drink was small but because they were that nice. Phat Belly is a great place to just hang and chill with your friends or enjoy on your own too because of the ambience, great food and drinks. Plus, they offer free wifi for you to use. I would definitely want to come here again. However, due to current situations, Phat Belly is only available for takeaways and free deliveries with a minimum order of $15.00 so give your support to our food and beverage businesses or restaurants by giving them a call and placing an order!
