  3. Comment “FLUFFY” if you’d like to try this easy zero carb cheesy garlic bread recipe!! I personally made these in the airfryer but you can also batch back a bunch in one go in your oven. Ingredients: -       4 whites -       1 cup of shredded cheese -       1 tbsp Garlic powder -       Your favorite spices (oregano, chili flakes, pepper…) Directions: -       Separate egg whites from yolks and beat whites into stiff peaks -       Gently fold in cheese, garlic powder, and spices -       Create small buns on parchment paper and place into the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes -no need to flip.   3. Eating only meat has done wonders for my digestion - no more bloating! I also love how long eating a breakfast like this keeps me full. I’ll eat, and then I just don’t think about food for hours. Since cutting out plants and fibre, my gut feels way more predictable. Less gas, less discomfort, less reacting to everything. Humans aren’t built to process fibre the way true herbivores are. If you look at animals like gorillas or cows, they have large fermentation chambers. Multiple stomach compartments or an oversized colon packed with microbes whose main job is to break down fibre and turn it into usable energy. The human stomach is highly acidic and relatively simple. Our small intestine is long and specialised for absorbing protein and fat efficiently. Our colon is much smaller compared to herbivores, which means we have limited capacity to ferment fibre before it causes gas, bloating, and discomfort for a lot of people. In many ways, our digestion looks closer to dogs and wolves. Strong stomach acid. Shorter colons. A system designed to break down animal protein and fat quickly, not to ferment large amounts of plant material. Dogs and wolves don’t eat fibre to “fix” digestion. They thrive on food that’s easy to digest and leaves very little residue behind.   3. I’m alive everyone! I’ve been going through a really rough depression episode but I’m deciding that I’m not going to let it consume me anymore. Long story short, I was in a happy relationship for 5 years and found out he was cheating on me the whole 5 years and the worst part is, we lived together and I had absolutely no idea (jokes on me!) 🤦🏻‍♀️ I keep asking myself why am I not enough? What did I do to deserve this? I couldn’t eat for weeks (im skinny now), I couldn’t go to work for almost 2 weeks (thank god for union jobs), I spent my days sleeping because I could not bare the heartache. Anyways, I have decided that the pity party stops today! I just know the good lord has something much better planned for me (he better!).   1. Omg! If you love a surf & turf meal boy oh boy do I have one for you! If you love any kind of protien meals then FILLOW ME @cookingalongwithme FOR MORE EASY PROTEIN MEALS AND DESSERTS! . So I haven’t had surf & turf in a very long time and I was wanting to make some. My hubby was onboard and we both decided to make this delicious! I was over the moon amazed at how fantastic it turned out. I will definitely be making this again. . Here is how we made this incredible surf & turf! . -2 lobster tails -2 filet mignons - lemon butter - spices of your choice I used smoked paprika, powdered garlic, lemon, butter and some cayenne pepper. Mix it all together. . How to make the lobster tails. . First you cut the lobster tail by using sharp scissors, cut all the way down to the last shell of the lobster. See pics. - Then retrieve the meat out of the lobster gently still in tact to the last shell and place onto the top of the whole shell of the lobster. -Next in a bowl add 1/4 cup of melted butter, add fresh or powdered garlic and lemon juice of one lemon. Add spices of your choice I used a dash of smoked paprika & cayenne pepper. Mix together very well. . Add this mix onto the meat of the lobster basting it all over. . Here is a simple method of knowing how to broil your lobsters. if you have a 7 ounce lobster tail you broil on high for 7 minutes. If it’s a 5 ounce tail then broil on high for 5 minutes It works every single time, and it’s cooked perfectly! . Our fillet mignon were spectacularly cooked as well, my hubby made those. . This was a super amazing meal with a lovely bottle of J-lohr red wine. It just doesn’t get any better than this! . .   2. Who loves a hardy beef & turkey MEATZA-PIZZA all dressed with deliciousness? 🙋🏼‍♀️ If you do, follow me @cookingalongwithme for MORE EASY PROTEIN MEALS & DESSERTS! . So for this meal I came up with this meatzapizza because I had 1-pound of ground beef and 1-1/2 pounds of ground turkey that needed to be cooked and so I felt for pizza and decided to combine both together and crossed my fingers that it would taste great and OMG! It’s DELICIOUS! . You can checkout the pics on how I made it👉👉👉 Basically in a bowl mix the two meats together, add spices of your choice, place meats in a large sheet pan and spread meats to cover. Add all the toppings you like I used up my turkey pepperoni, RAO’s tomato basil sauce, I had some red bell pepper diced (hubby’s request) and some leftover Munster cheese some Parmesan and last but not least fresh basil 🌿 . Place in a 375 oven for 25 minutes. Let cool a few minutes and there ya have it one hardy meal that will keep you satisfied for hours and leftovers too! .   3. Who loves BURGERS? I know I DO! 🙋🏼‍♀️ If you do too then follow me @cookingalongwithme FOR MORE EASY PROTEIN MEALS AND DESSERTS! . For today’s post I decided on some turkey burgers! These were so tasty and juicy with some added burger sauce I made using 1/2 cup home made mayo. Diced dill pickles, tomato sauce, some stevia and Redmond Real salt. . Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk together. . For the turkey burgers I use 1 pound ground turkey and divided it into 4 patties. Add any spice you like and in a hot pan I added some tallow and then added the patties to the pan, let cook for 4-5 minutes and flip over and cook another 4 minutes or so. . Place 2 patties on a plate add the sauce over the patties and I also decided on a smashed half avocado for the topping, it was so creamy and it all tasted amazing! .   2. (Swipe for the full frame!) I’m delighted to share that this autumn I captured my first DSLR camera trap shots of a wolverine! I wanted to include the vast, rugged beauty of wolverine country in Washington’s South Cascades, and I’m thrilled (and relieved) to walk away with some shots that I find to be beautiful and unique. My work in this location is part of Cascades Carnivore Project’s research operated in partnership with NPS. As I continue to camera trap through winter, this remote location will be inaccessible until spring of 2024, but I am SO EXCITED to return next year and experiment with additional compositions and seasons in this glorious landscape.
