However, sometimes I do sleep in them but it’s no more than one night and my hair is either wrapped or in a ponytail. 2. Clip ins can damage or cause breakage if you aren’t careful installing or removing them. 3. My hair is heat trained. However at times it does frizz up a bit due to my daily workouts and/or weather but not too much. I try to keep as much heat out as possible so if it gets to frizzy I switch over to my kinky textured clip ins. 4. I always use 2 packs of clip ins because I like my hair full with lots of volume. Also, I have a smaller head so I need more of the smaller sizes. She spends half the year in San Diego and the other six months at her mountain home in Northern California. At the very top of her priority list is maintaining mobility—so she can continue caring for her beloved dog, Heidi, live without outside physical assistance, and keep the strength she needs to remain independent.   3. Pilates with your partner >> Long story short, @pick_ap2s first love is basketball. He obviously knew I’d give him lessons, but he never asked… Then one day a guy he shoots with said Pilates had changed his game because he no longer had back pain flair ups or recurring pain. That was all it took for Aaron to want weekly lessons. We typically do basic to intermediate work, but we keep it real simple. He loves mat and high chair (especially the Achilles stretch and going up front) and loves when I throw in some spine corrector. And ya know what? He keeps getting better. It’s such a testament to trust the work. You don’t need to change it. Stay the course and you will see improvement. Almost a year in and if Aaron happens to miss Pilates one week he will tell me he can tell just by the way his body feels. Pilates is an amazing form of exercise, and it’s nice to remember—it’s just exercise. It doesn’t have to be so serious and it should be fun! Like Elle Woods said, “Exercise gives you endorphins. As a Mexican who immigrated from Mexico and is now a U.S. citizen, I’ve felt a heavy mix of anger, sadness, and responsibility these past few weeks. I know what it’s like to be undocumented.
