  3. The side of my life you haven’t seen throughout my first trimester. Sharing this part is extremely, which is why I’ve only shared football content lately. Game days are the only time I force myself to put on a face and look like the happiness I long to feel again. But this, this is the reality my husband and toddler see every day. I prayed to be pregnant again, and God graciously answered that prayer. So part of me feels like I don’t have the right to speak nothing but joy. But these last 8 weeks… I truly didn’t know if I was going to make it (still struggling) not just physically, but mentally. Some days, even taking a shower takes all the energy I have. I cry anytime my toddler isn’t watching, feeling like I’m failing her during our last year of just us. My husband works 6am to 11pm or later, so during the hours I need my person most, he can’t be there. And even with people offering to help, I still feel so isolated — isolated in my own shame. Feeling useless and weak to those who need me most. Feeling dissociated from my body and the precious life growing inside of me. When I try filming regular “day in the life” content, I kept these raw moments — so when my baby is finally in my arms, I can remind myself… I did it. I made it to the other side. I honestly can’t put into words how hard this has been.
