What you may not know, is that I also plan to make some fake septum’s like this one I’m wearing in the video. These ones you just simply adjust the barbells, slide the ring inside your nose, and boom! It stays on you throughout the day without you needing a septum piercing. This way you can test out what having a septum is like, before you get the piercing. Or maybe you just want to wear a septum some days out of the week. This is the perfect solution🖤 For starters we will probably just begin with the most common/average size gauges. Still though, let me know what gauge septum’s you wear so we can try to be as inclusive as we can!

Flip your image and print. 2️⃣ Tape image to a table. 3️⃣ Cut transfer tape to the size of your image. Tape down transfer tape sticky side up over the image. Put the non-sticky back paper aside. 4️⃣ Place rhinestones shiny side down on top of the sticky transfer tape, tracing your image with rhinestones. 5️⃣ After you’ve traced the design with rhinestones, place the backing paper on the sticky part and flip over to check your design. Adjust rhinestone spacing as needed. 6️⃣ Removd backing paper and apply the transfer tape sticky side down to your garment. 7️⃣ Set an iron to medium heat, and place iron on top of the transfer tape to activate the glue on the rhinestones. Let sit for 15 seconds in one spot and move to another part of the design until all rhinestones have been heated. 8️⃣ Allow rhinestones to cool, and remove the transfer tape. Here’s how to do this easy diy! 1️⃣ Wash jeans, and keep fabric damp. 2️⃣ Fill a pot of with water, 1 cup of salt, and 1 teaspoon of dish soap. 3️⃣ Add red dye and stir. I used half a bottle of @ritdye cherry red. Use less dye for less intense effect. 4️⃣ Heat up dye bath on stovetop on medium heat and add damp jeans. 5️⃣ Stir jeans for 30 minutes and make sure all parts of fabric get submerged evenly. 6️⃣ Wash jeans in sink until water runs clear. Wash again in washing machine (by themselves) and let air dry. The dye technique of dyeing over already dyed fabric is called overdye! It’s a fun and easy way to upcycle and rework old denim. This jeans diy works best on cotton jeans. The higher the percentage of cotton, the better the dye will stick to the fiber. I used a lighter wash denim to get this bright purple result, but if you start with dark wash denim, your purple will be darker. Try this diy on some thrifted jeans for a cool thriftflip or upcycle some old jeans currently in your closet. Crop your jeans into jorts either by 1) cutting to the desired length and leaving the raw edge or 2) follow my previous tutorial on how to hem jeans with the original hem. 2️⃣ Seam rip scraps and create a pleated pocket pattern on an 8.5 x 11” sheet of paper: half inch border and 4 lines in the middle 2 inches apart. Transfer the pattern to the denim scraps and cut two. Protect the raw edges by either serging, a zig zag stitch, or Fray Check. I used Fray Check. 3️⃣ Fold on the second line and fourth line, press, and top stitch down close to the edge (⅛” suggested). Fold the pleats into place and stitch them down at the top and bottom. Fold over the seam allowances and press. Top stitch the seam allowances down (⅜” suggested). 4️⃣ Attach the pockets to the jorts where desired (I did 2.5” from the hem) and top stitch them down close to the edge (⅛” suggested). 5️⃣ To make the flaps, cut a rectangle slightly larger than your finished pocket width + seam allowance. My finished pocket width was 6.25” so I cut rectangles 7.5” wide and 5.5” tall. Fold in half right sides together, press, and stitch the sides. Cut the corners close to the seam, flip inside out and press. Top stitch the pocket flat around the edges (suggested ⅜”). 6️⃣ Attach the flaps above the pockets. I put mine half an inch above. Stitch it down close to the bottom edge and fold over. Press the flap down and do one final top stitch (⅜” suggested). Tips: Reinforce the pockets by stitching the top corners of the flap and pocket with a really close zig stitch. Reference jorts you already have to get the proper length.
