  1. No, no and no! I hear these things said often and they just aren’t true. 1. Gray hair won’t make you look older. To clarify - If you are in your 20’s with gray hair you will look like someone in their 20’s with gray hair, the same is true if you are in your 30’s, 40’s etc. It’s okay to look your age and gray hair is literally just another hair color 👩🏻‍🦳🤍 But also- who decided women need to look younger in order to be considered worthy or beautiful? That’s probably a topic that deserves it’s own post.🙃 2. Gray hair isn’t always more coarse. Many women discover that their gray hair is actually the opposite of coarse. My experience has been that my gray is very soft; it’s the leftover dyed parts at the bottom that are coarse and dry. If you have do have coarse hair, regardless of the color, the key is finding and using the right products. 3. Having gray hair does NOT mean your long-haired days are over. There is no rule that says if you have gray hair or are over a certain age you have to have short hair. Wear your hair however you want! 🤍 If you are considering ditching the dye, I say go for it. Feel like you could never go gray and want to keep dyeing it? That’s okay too!   3. Recently I was introduced to an ugly side of social media, one I didn’t really know existed. The part where people say unkind and mean spirited things to others who are doing their own thing. Many of you reached out and reminded me that the focus needs to be on the positive support I am getting and to ignore the haters, which I really took to heart.   2. I find that as my hair grows out, the gray leaves me wanting a little more emphasis on my eyes. Just to kind of balance everything out, y’know? Just tried a new-to-me eyeliner trick that checks all of my boxes: minimal effort, hard to mess up, emphasizes my eyes, & gives me a cat eye that works with my eye shape. It’s subtle, but every time I catch a glimpse in a mirror I’m like “oh, hello there.” I’m not mad about it. Proper nutrition, of course, forms the best foundation for healthy hair and skin. I shampoo my naturally curly hair every day 😉 yes on the daily. That's just me. "Attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure." ✨ Three years ago almost exactly to this day, my hand was forced to stop coloring my hair...not that the ritual was something that I ever looked forward to. My severe allergic reaction to the toxic ingredients was the one of the best things that could have happened for my well-BEing 🤍 And so my adventure began.   3. Hey 👋 my lovelies! It’s been a while! So it has been for me! I’ve been a bit absent as of lately… first I hurt my knee then I started a new job… so I’ve been working on adjusting my schedule to be able to post again regularly if not daily. I miss being here as I like to and hope I can be jumping back in pretty soon! . .   1. REGRETS! Shoulda gone cold turkey. 🥶🦃 My hair is very fine and fragile. The price, damage, and short lived color were not worth it. Olaplex is temporary. A high bun probably contributed to breakage, but it's only the bleached hair that broke off.

  2. Trying my imitation Sleep Styler rollers! FAIL! My hair is not long enough for these. Started with damp almost dry hair and left 'em in for a few hours. I've tried sleeping in them before, and it was not worth poor sleep and a poor result. I think this could be really amazing if my hair was longer. Maybe in another year (when I actually have some gray that shows)!!! I've been trying really hard to avoid hot tools. Just reintroduced diffusing and drying my hair, after over a year of no heat at all. I Really want to test out the Dyson Airwrap, but it's so expensive! I have a couple refurbished Dyson products that I loooove (dryer and cordless vacuum). They are far beyond anything I've ever used.   3. Low heat curls! This was my second time using these flexible foam rollers. I'm finding it pretty easy. I use them on 100% dry hair, but with a spritz of Color Wow Dream Coat Curl Spray on each curl. Love this stuff because it helps with hold, but isn't sticky or crunchy. Feels almost like nothing in my hair. I also try to use the rollers as much like a curling wand as possible. This technique took some experimenting. Love to attach the heat bonnet to my hair dryer to make the process a little faster. More importantly, the bonnet is hilarious and really fun to use. 🤣 Very inexpensive to buy on Amazon.
