  1. The #WSOP is a special time of year for all poker professionals. Coming up we all stared in wonderment, nose pressed against the glass of Bobby's Room watching hundreds of thousands exchange hands amongst the elite pros. We brushed elbows throughout the Rio halls with larger than life characters running from event to event, attempting to add another bracelet to their legacy. I too often forget what it was like as that $5/$10 grinder, too often sitting with case money, day dreaming of the day when I'd be competing at the highest stakes, for more than just the money. These past two weeks have been a stark reminder of how lucky I am to be in the arena; competing on the big stage, where the stakes are high & everyone is watching. So grateful for my time on @hustlercasinolive with the likes of #philivey & #tomdwan, it was an incredible weekend of high stakes cash. Also really appreciate all the support in my $10k 6-max @wsop run.   3. What a wild ride in a short period of time. I don't think any of us thought that after a year this experiment would be as well received as it has been. To my team: Andre, for being the brains behind the production & Guapo for executing on our vision while learning and adapting on the fly. Melissa & Chin for the dedication to getting this project off the ground, specifically during the WSOP which was pivotal in us making it to this point. To All of our guests and loyal viewers at home who tune in & show us love daily, thank you for making our jobs so effortless and rewarding. And Lastly, to Landon, the Tortoise, & Mr. Let's Get it Poppin himself, Conrad. Thank you for showing up and showing out. This podcast is nothing without the personality that yinz guys consistently bring. Yinz guys are the backbone of what we do & I couldn't be more proud of the product we put out daily. One last note, I want to give a huge nod of appreciation to everyone in the industry listening. It may not be obvious but for the first time in as long as I can remember, the community and those in charge have come together to move mountains this past year. Issues like RTA, stream security, & overall player safety was not only heard, but promptly addressed by the people capable of imparting change at the highest levels.   1. As a lot of you might have heard by now - a few days ago I won the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, they say that makes me world champion. That’s not comparable with those of other sports and makes me feel lucky, but still proud and think back of a few moments; the first time seeing Poker on German TV in maybe 2006 and thinking “Why would they show people playing cards, I want to watch football!”. Then playing for the first time at my friend Fabi’s new year’s party a year later, assuming a small straight of 4567 has to be a great hand. Staying up all night while studying 10 years ago to watch Pius win the main event and playing my first couple of tournaments around that time myself. Fast forward to the excitement of starting to travel the poker circuit with se German crew around 2013 and becoming a highroller regular after a great 2016. Ups, downs, Covid…. and now I’m suddenly one of the main event winners. Still very surreal.  With Poker being so much of an individual sport pretty much all the time, it’s been especially cool to get so many positive messages and interactions from not only friends and family, but also other players, a lot of people I look up to. Grateful for that. And looking forward to what’s next..! 🚀

  3. The World Series of Poker 2023 has officially started, 7 weeks of tournaments ahead. I booked my first cash in the $25,000 6max High Roller and successfully beat the jetlag after a few days of waking up at 5am - time to take it to the streets, make some runs and maybe get some Player of the Year points along the way!
