  3. We got lucky. Not every family does. 💛 At 5 months old, our twins Lincoln and Lola were exposed to measles in a public place — before they were old enough to be vaccinated. Three weeks of watching, waiting, and fearing. They were okay. But we learned something most parents don’t know: 👉 Babies can get the MMR vaccine as early as 6 months 👉 And they should if you’re in an outbreak area (It’s safe — it just means an extra dose. Talk to your pediatrician.) For decades, measles was basically gone. Like not wearing a seatbelt in a parked garage — the risk didn’t feel real. But vaccination rates dropped. Herd immunity broke. And measles is back. In infants, measles can cause pneumonia, blindness, brain damage… even death. There’s no treatment. Only prevention. Utah is currently in an outbreak. So are other states. If your baby is 6–12 months, talk to your pediatrician. Model actions like hugging, patting, and speaking gently and lovingly to said stuffed animal. Most likely your toddler will do the same to it. I can’t say I’m Surprised with the Results… Other moms were doing this with Cocomelon; but the “high stim” show I showed her in this video isn’t even that high stim compared to something like Cocomelon. I’d say it’s about medium stimulation, but as you can see it still has a negative effect.   3. I wasn’t expecting her to do this… Our home is always so messy, so I couldn’t help but wonder if it was negatively affecting our baby. We put away everything and only left out a few things to see how it would change our baby’s behavior. Long story short, I think she was more focused. We were able to concentrate on specific activities, one at a time. I think it’s good to kind of reset at least once a week like this.   2. Ad This weekend we were lucky enough to be invited to @carfestevent with @cinchuk We had the best time! There were so many areas to explore with exhibitors, games, shows, and talks. The line up was incredible! Highlights for us were @mcflymusic on the main stage and @cbeebieshq for their bedtime stories and shows (@andyandtheoddsocks a huge hit in our household!). On top of all this was the huge line up of cars and track events. Jack loved watching them race round the track.   3. We've just got back from the best long weekend at @havenofficial Doniford Bay. So many things to do, and we got so lucky with the weather. We stopped on the way at @hollywoodbowluk Cribbs Causeway - turns out the entire world likes to travel south on a Friday so we broke up the journey with some bowling, which Jack loved! On the way home was the biggest adventure! A trip to @puxtonadventurepark - I searched our route home for somewhere to stop and found Puxton. It was so much better than I thought it was going to be! One of those hidden gem type places that we will definitely be visiting again! Everything was included in one, really reasonable entrance price and Jack had the time of his life!
